Tell me and I forget,
Teach me and I remember,
Involve me, and I learn.
*Ben Franklin

Welcome to "Activities" Page!
"Saving Grace" would like your help finding
innovative information on activities to
use as caregivers.
We are interested in innovative ideas for
activities in all settings from home care
to institutional care.
Many of us have visited nursing homes
only to find many of the residents
wheeled outside their room and that is
where they stay throughout the day,
with little to do.
Many home caregivers need ideas!
Please let us know if you find any of these
therapies helpful. If you
have other ideas please let us know so we can
include your thoughts and ideas
on our site.
Please visit our message board linked at the
top of the Web Page. Let us hear from you!

 ASCEND
"ASCEND is an student organization
created to help mildly-to-moderately affected
early-diagnosis Alzheimer's patients
combat their disease via computer therapy -
by helping to improve their
short-term memory, depression,
loss of independence, and communication.
This holistic approach
complements the medical therapy
that treats just Alzheimer's disease,
by exercising and helping to
also heal our participants' minds and emotions."
