LOL. ok...im sorry the newsletter is late. i am soooooo mad!! btw - this has really nothing to do about savage garden. well ANYWAY...there is this auto sales place in town. WELL, anyway...there was this red BMW (my other obsession) and i wanted it sooo bad! i have been wanting a BMW since 1997. well, anyway! my grandpa has been calling him for 2 days in a row. he calls about 6-7 times a day. well...he hasnt gotten him. well, when i came in from school, i called. i got through... *--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- Car Place - Hello? Me - Hello! im calling about the red BMW... Car Place - i am sorry, we just sold it. the man is signing the papers now. Me - SOLD IT? NO WAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS? SSSOOOOLLLLLDDDD?? *sigh* sold. *sniff sniff* well, um, thank you. Car Place - yes, sold. im sorry. Me - oh, umm....its alright --whispered lightly..."i guess."--...bye bye...thanks anyway. *sniff* Car Place - bye *click* *--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- i was sooooo upset. (ok, call me a materialistic person if you want...lol) i am just soooo upset. i wanted that car sssssooooo bad! even though it will be about a year and a half to 2 years before i get my license, i dont care. my grandpa can drive me around in it. aahh...it was beautiful!!! a red 4 door 325i. aaahh, i loved it!! i was in tears for about 45 mins - hour after i hung up. it meant so much to me. oh well...i guess in stead of buying a used one from a place in the country, i should go to Flow BMW and get a used one there (hey, maybe even a new one...lol), right?? even though the car was red, i dont care...i loved it. but i do prefer a dark blue or black one. :o) well, im going to shut up now. *sigh...looks up and frowns* did i saw i was going to shut up....nope...im not. i had a great V-day. i went out to eat with Jason (boyfriend of a year and 2 months). we went to a seafood resturant. :o) (i love shrimp) well, anyway...he gave me this really cute Angel (or cupid...something like that) with a cute little (real) flower halo and is holding a huge pink heart that says "Be Mine". its soooo cute. um....what else do i have to say? oh yeah! our band at school is going on a trip. GUESS WHERE!!!!!! :o) YES, thats right...Atlanta, GA! we are going to Six Flags and play in some kind of band competition. well, anyway...that friday we get there, we are going to an Atlanta Braves game...and guess what. the place that i went to see savage garden is a BLOCK away from the braves stadium! i cant wait to go!!!!!!!!! ok...umm...now i think im finished! :o) nothing really has happy much this week. ok...now im finished! so read on...about the newsletter, when you reply to something click on the link and always put the right subject. if you can put it in capital letters with this * * around it...for example *POLL* and so on... thanks. also, PLEASE email if you are going to change your screen name, delete your screen name or whatever. :o) now, enjoy the newsletter! Like maybe a couple making up after an argument like the first line. WEll, we all know now that the single has dropped to number 2, but it's still number 1 in the Adult Contemporary charts and it has been for weeks! Just thought I'd share the very good news! Liberty § From: CinGreen@aol.com Just to let you guys know that IKILY took a drastic drop on VH1's top 10 today. They fell from # 3 to # 7. Two weeks ago they were #1, it's hard to believe they could drop so fast, especially on VH1 that has videos on the countdown forever it seems. Not a good sign. Some of the videos that past them are Christina, Filter, and Train. IKILY only held on to #1 in one city and that was Orlando. One bright spot is that VH1 was scheduled to received the CAB video today, so hopefully they will begin airing it next week. Please send an email to VH1 and tell them how much you love the IKILY video and want them to play it and ask them if they have the CAB video and tell them you are looking forward to seeing it. It will really help the guys if you do. We know the Tour will begin on April, so I decided to do a petition to send to the fanzine so they'll do the following: An amount of tickets(to be defined by them) for each and EVERY SG concert will be reserved to the fanzine, for European, Asian, Latin and US concerts. If there are different kind of seats, then they'll have tickets to all the kinds of seats (like first row, ground, etc) Anyways, those tickets will be sold by the fanzine ONLY to members. The difference will be that those tickets will include backstage passes before and/or after the show to see the guys. The idea is to do a petition and send it to the fanzine, so I'd like to collect some info. I'll send it on the 29th of February, since the Tour will start on April, and they'll need some time to decide this... Just remember, even if you are a non-member, you may ask a member to get tickets for you. I think this is fair, because we are members of the official fan club and we need some kind of privileges. The CD is available in stores today. Rosie thanked Darren Hayes for being a part of the Christmas album. He said he wanted to do it for the childrens charities and he could not pass up the chance to be on an album with Elmo! Darren will also be performing on Rosie's Christmas special in December. Darren got the job singing with Savage Garden by answering a newspaper ad. He auditioned with a song from Little Shop of Horrors and got the job. Rosie's favorite from Little Shop is Suddenly Seymor. Savage Garden asks their fans to not bring gifts to their concerts. Instead they ask the fans to donate the money or toys to childrens charities. What a great idea. Darren did admit to being clumsy on stage. In fact he fell off the stage during a concert in his hometown. He just pretends it is a very Rock and Roll thing to do LOL. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Year In Australia Hi! I'm Emma. And I'm from Sydney in Australia. Yes that's right, the country famous for its koalas and kangaroos. I live right next to Bondai Beach in a raised house. I'm 15 and at the moment we have our summer vacation. So, while most of you in Europe and the United States are wearing woollies and thermal underwear, freezing in the cold weather, we down under are having fun on the beach in our swimwear. At the moment we have a six week summer vacation during Christmas and New year. And it's great. For new year celebrations, we have a barbecue meal at home with family and all the neighbours by the pool. There's lots of food, especially plenty of barbecued meats and fish. As the evening approaches midnight, we all go to the beach for a beach party. And a display of fireworks are lit to start the new year. All our parents and friends have fun, they sing and dance, until early hours of the morning. And now that I'm older I can stay up with them too. During the summer months, the weather is scorching hot here in Australia and temperatures can get as high as 40 degrees centigrade. And when temperatures are too high we can't go to school, because there is a danger that the building will catch fire from the heat. We are also famous for our bush fires which are dangerous too. And it can be frightening. For our summer holidays we go to the exotic islands of Bali or Fiji. New Zealand is only a few hours away and sometimes we go and visit my grandparents there. But there is so much to do here in Sydney too because it's a busy city. My brothers and I prefer to stay on the beach and do water sports. I love to go snorkelling and deep sea diving. |
