Ok. Here are my Top Ten Reasons On why the Saxophone is the Best Instrument
10. Jazz! Jazz! Jazz!
9. It is easily the most versatile (trombones play low, flutes play high. etc.)
8. The notes are the same as the recorder, so the saxophone is an easy instrument to learn how to play.
7. It is barely bigger than the femminine instruments ( flutes, clarinets, piccolos) but isn't huge and bulky ( tuba, baritone)
6. Six is a dumb number. I'm gonna skip this reason
5. The saxophone is probobly the second most respected band instrument, behind the drums.

Playing in a band is really cool too. Especially the marching band. I wanna be in the marching band and stuff. In case you were wondering, my favorite song that i can play on my saxophone (besides the themes from The Simpsons and Star Wars) is Windmills of Your Mind from the Thomas Crown Affair. A close second is El Capitan. Third is Invercargill.
Anyway... my band in school is pretty good. I am the SECOND BEST saxophonist in the sixth grade. Curse you, First Chair Man!!!!!!!! |
