| Hello, this page has all of the Pokemon movies and upcoming Pokemon movies! POKEMON THE FIRST MOVIE / AKA MEWTWO'S REVENGE POKEMON 2000 / ALSO BEEN CALLED THE POWER OF ONE In the second Pokémon Movie there is a Pokémon collector named Jirarudan and is out to capture the most rare and mysterious Pokémon of all, Lugia. (Poor Mew has been shoved aside ^_- ) No one has ever seen it but it was once written that it will appear from the sea when all three of the Legendary Birds are brought together in one place. It is for that reason that Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno have their own island each. Jirrarudan approaches the island of Moltres and begins to freeze blast the whole island, weakening Moltres making it easy for him to capture Moltres in an electric net. Now Ash arrives along with Misty and Tracey on a nearby island. Back in pallet town Ash's Mother is outside enjoying herself when Prof. Oak rides up and talks to her about what a wonderful day they are having. Pretty soon a large group of Diglett are stampeding past and as they go past the take Oaks bike along with them. Next another herd of Pokémon rushes past heading in the same direction, not knowing what to make of just happened Oak notices that it is snowing even though it is the middle of summer. Going back to Ash on Ashia island he is greeted by a man in a mask who explains that there is a festival going on to celebrate the Pokémon Gods. they are soon introduced to Furura who is like a messenger for the gods. It looks like she likes Ash and Misty becomes jealous. Ash now joining the ceremony is asked to retrieve their power crystals so that they can calm down the weather around them. Ash accepts and then they are off again to the island of Moltres. On Moltres' Island Ash must climb to the top of a mountain to reach the shrine of Moltres where he will find the first power crystal. Ash retrieves the crystal and then they see Zapdos flying in the air using his thundershock attack as a sort of communication and then Pikachu starts return a message explaining what they are doing there and what they know. Jirarudan now takes his chance and captures Zapdos. Oak is now organising with Professor Ivy a trip to the islands to see what is causing the weather disturbances, and Ash's Mother also tags along on the trip. Ash is now onboard Jirarudan's big flying fortress where he finds Zapdos and Moltres caged up, and Ash decides that he will not let this man destroy the world by freeing Lugia, the bird that would destroy heaven and earth. Ash lets out all his Pokemon and orders them to attack the cage. The Pokémon working together cause an explosion and manage to free Moltres from its cage, with a large fire attack Moltres also frees Zapdos from his cage. Now that Zapdos and Moltres are free from their cages they work with Articuno to destroy the airship. The giant airship crashes and Ash makes it out just in time. Ash now picks up the seccond Power Crystal which has conveniently rolled to him. Making a large spout of water Lugia then appears from the sea and starts to battle with Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres. Lugia is defeated by the 3 birds but is revived when a girls plays her flute, Lugia Flies over and explains what they will need to do to save the world. Ash now makes his way accross the frozen ocean which Articuno had frozen with its attacks. Ash uses Charizard, Pikachu and Bulbasaur to pull him accross the ice on a sled he made himself. As ash makes his way accross Lugia acts as a shield so that he can make it to the shrine and retrieve the last power crystal. Articuno then falls through the roof of the shrine blocking off ash's exit, Lugia then flies down and urges for Ash and Pikachu to get on its back to fly to safety. Ash now nearing the island where he must take the final crystal with lugia is attacked by the Pokémon collector. Lugia becomes injured and falls to the sea below, Lugia sinks and Ash surfaces, unconsious. Misty and Furua are arguing about who is going to save Ash, MIsty wins the argument by saying its her job. She runs as fast as she can and grabs ash dragging him from the water. He doesn't appear to be breathing but manages to come right quickly. Ash now runs to the shrine where he places the final crystal in its place, now there is a reaction between the 3 birds and the shrine begins to glow. Furura plays her flute again and the sky begins to lighten up. Lugia now arises from the water and thanks them for their help and urges ash to get on his back again Lugia fixes everything and the 3 birds return to their places.As Lugia returns to the sea Ash's mother, Prof Oak and Prof Ivy come down from the mountain and it is all over. |
