Quatre is the pilot of the Gundam Sandrock (Gundam 04). The Maganac Corps helps him in battle when they can. Though he was trained by Instructor H to be like the other Gundam pilots, Quatre is the gentlest of the 5. He has 29 sisters (can you imagine that?), who are all test-tube children. Quatre is the only child in his family to be the result of a natural birth, but his mother died while giving birth to him. Quatre's father told him that he was also a test-tube baby so Quatre wouldn't feel different from his sisters. Quatre grew up feeling like an experiment and grew to resent his life, feeling that he had no purpose. Then one day a space carrier he was on was hijacked by a group of space pirates called the Maganac Corps, who all turned out to be test-tube babies (well, that explains Rashid's height...). Quatre joined their ranks and developed his own sense of self respect and pride. When Operation Meteor was launched, he met up with them again. Quatre usually gives his enemies a chance to surrender, and usually apologizes after killing them. After his father is killed by colony soldiers on L4, Quatre builds Wing Zero from the plans that Instructor H had left in the Winner family's computer, and began to destroy colonies to avenge his father's death. He is stopped when the Vayeate, piloted by Trowa, gets hit by a blast from Zero's beam cannon. The Vayeate is destroyed, and Trowa is presumed dead, and Quatre is left thinking that he has lost his friend. After that, Quatre never wanted to see the ZERO system again, but is forced to use it after Heero installs it in Sandrock so Quatre can come up with strategies to destroy Libra's Mobile Doll force, which also have the ZERO system installed in them. Though he can be dangerous in battle, Quatre is the most peaceful of all the pilots.
