Bedie HARRISON Children by Martha TERRELL--> James Jefferson, John Franklin, William, Mary, Susan, Jennie, Nancy, Angelina, Mattie, Emily and Thomas. Children by Elizabeth Jane BALL--> Amanda, Frances, Della and Charley Children by Bedie HARRISON--> Joe, Nesbit and Bedie This is my great grandfather, but we have no idea where exactly he came from or who his parents were. I also am looking for the parents of James Polk BERRY, born 1845 in Jackson County, GA. He married his adopted first cousin, Carolina BERRY (born Rebecca SHEDD). He had a brother named Van Buren and one named Dallas. Carolina's adopted father was Ludwell BERRY. I think James Polk BERRY's father was named Milton BERRY but have no proof. These people claimed to be Black Dutch and/or part Indian. Any information would be appreciated.
