My paternal great Grandfather Kistner is hard to research. He moved around a lot and we are unsure of his legal name (probably either George Joeph Kistner or Joseph W. Kistner, possibly Jeffrey?) He was born 22 February 1873 in Newton, Jasper County, Illinois. He died 1 July 1944 and is buried in Oakwood cemetery in Alton, Madison Co, Illinois. |
