There are 297 total, and they all fit into seven categories: Current Players, Historic Players, Cheats, Stadiums, Classic Teams, All-Madden Teams and Extra Teams. The cards (and what they do) are listed below.
Note: Due to the enormous nature of the Madden Card challenge, some of the Stadium and Team cards have not yet been unlocked. Keep checking this section for updates, as we will be adding cards as we unlock them.

Cheat Cards
Cheat cards can be used during gameplay to temporarily boost your players' stats. After you have earned them, they will be available in the pause menu during regular Madden play, under Play Madden Cards. Cheat cards can only be used once. How long they last depends on what kind of medal. (Bronze=B, Silver=S, Gold=G).

The Titans (a good blend of D and O) are your best bet.

How about Kearse (TEN), Butler (GB) on a safety blitz, or Warren Sapp (TB)?
Force 3 turnovers in one game on defense
Try the Saints, Dolphins, Redskins or Ravens to achieve this.
Record 5 tackles with two different players
Take Tampa Bay into combat to fulfill this goal.
Hold CPU under 150 total off yards (min quarter=4)
Play Arizona or Cleveland as Tampa or as Baltimore.
Gain 100 rushing yards with one player

10 Rushing Attempts by two different players
Use the Tampa Bay Bucs and meet the challenge with Mike Alstott and Warrick Dunn.
Gain 100 rushing & 50 receiving yds with one player
The most likely candidate for completion of this challenge is Marshall Faulk (StL).
Gain 150 receiving yards with one player
Go for Terrell Owens (SF), Marvin Harrison (IND), or Randy Moss (MIN).
Gain 150 rushing yards with one player
The usual suspects will get the job done: Marshall Faulk (StL), Edgerrin James (IND) or Rickey Williams (NO). To mix it up a bit, use Barry Sanders of the 91 Lions.
Gain 400 yards of total offense (max quarter=6)
Deep passing and a steady running game are key when meeting this challenge. Try the Vikings, Rams, and Titans.
Break a 40 yard run
Catch the other team in a blitz or sprint around the corner to bust off some serious yards. You'll likely have to break a couple tackles to grab this much real estate. Try using Edgerrin James (IND), Jamal Anderson (ATL) or Robert Smith (MIN).
Complete 15 consecutive passes
Remember: these don't have to be long passes. If you're having difficulty meeting this challenge, try a bunch of screens and little dipsy-doo routes to secure the string of 15.
Complete a 60 yard pass
Hit Freeman (GB) on a streak from Favre, Moss (MIN) on a Hail Mary from Culpepper or Pickens (TEN) from McNair.
Hold the '99 Rams under 75 passing yards with reg team
The team with the best secondary wins. Try Miami or Washington.
Gain 150 rush yards vs. '75 Steelers (max quarter=6)
This one's tough. Use Sweetness (Walter Payton #34) of the '88 Bears or All-Bears teams to chisel at the Steelers' dominant front.
Recover 2 fumbles on defense with one player
Maximize your fumble opportunities by always pressing R2/L2 while tackling. After this, it is almost a matter of luck. This one is pretty tough to get.
Intercept 2 passes with one player
Deion Sanders (WSH) has been known to have two-interception performances from time to time. In addition, the Dolphins' entire secondary is pretty opportunistic.
Record 3 sacks with one player
Reggie White (#92) of the 1998 Pack, Lawrence Taylor of the All-Giants team, Jevon Kearse (TEN) and Warren Sapp (TB) are good bets.
Deflect 4 passes with one player
Choose a player on the line and raise those meathooks to the sky. Especially good at deflecting passes areWarren Sapp (TB) and Norman Hand (NO).
Record 8 tackles with one player
This is difficult. Unfortunately, it will usually be a linebacker or DB who records eight tackles. Take control of a 'backer, and roam up and down the line, looking for someone to stop.
