PEACOCK, NATURE'S WATCHDOG
Once upon a time, my parents vacationed at a small, private island off the coast of Florida. Peacocks roamed about and called from the trees. They are screechy like cats. Whenever a peacock saw or heard anyone coming near (and this was quite often, because the island was so teensy - and well-populated with peacocks) they would yell! My parents also have a friend who owns peacocks. My mom wondered, "Why would anyone own so many peacocks?" and her friend gave the same answer: "They make great watchdogs."
