Got nothing to do? Here's something that'll satisfy your creativity for a little while and give you something to play over and over later!
Take an old sheet, blanket, cardboard box, poster board, shoebox, piece of wood, folder, or anything flat that seems like it would work to be the "board" part of the game.
Decide on what your game will be about. Here are some topic ideas:
Truth or Dare (include cards with pre-written truths or dares on them, etc.)
Your Family or Friends (include trivia questions about your family, make the spaces look like rooms in your house, etc.)
Music (instrument-shaped playing pieces, name that tune, etc.)
Design your "board." Draw playing spaces on the board. Create playing pieces, cards, dice, and any special parts. Give the game a name.
Write (or type) up the rules (for example, if a guy player lands on a space that says "No Boys Allowed" they have to either lose a turn or try to skip on only one foot). The rules can be as silly as you are.
Invite family and friends over for its world-premiere round. |
