BODY

1 To tone your arms, lift a one-liter bottle of water. Plus, if you get thirsty, you have a healthy drink! Do 15-25 repitions.

2 If you're retaining fluids (no this doesn't mean you're pregnant, LOL, it probably has something to do with your period, though) drink lots of water and cut back on your salt. (Shake that pepper instead :)

3 Exercise in water! The extra resistance works nearly every body muscle, while the water is easy on you - allowing you to work out longer with less stress on your body.


FACE

1 Use saline solution (contact drops) to lessen the redness of zits. (Get the red out!)

2 Try one of the face masks at the bottom of the page.


HAIR

1 If your hair tends to get oily, rerinse your hair with warm water after shampooing. This helps lessen oiliness.

2 If you want your hair silky shiny, rerinse your hair with cool water after shampooing. This closes hair follicles for a shinier look.

3 If you want your hair to grow faster, massage your scalp every day. (TIP: Do this before your shower - your hair tends to get greasy after doing this!)


MAKEUP

1 Use bluish lipstick (it doesn't have to be blue! purple will do:) to make teeth look whiter. (Say cheese!)

2 Use yellow-based concealer to cover up undereye circles. Use green-based concealer to cover up zits. (Zits an amazing trick!)

3 Vaeline (petroleum jelly) is an amazing makeup maker! Mix pixie stix with it to make yummy lip gloss. Put glitter in it and make it sparkle gel. Be creative!

4 If thick, dark, long eyelashes, use clear brow & lash mascara for length, definition, and to tidy them up. Dark mascara tends to add to clumpiness.

5 Use brown mascara for girls with blond lashes. Black looks too harsh.


FACE MASKS (masks taken from synergy magazine - sadly, this has ended)

1 Cucumber Avocado Facial Mask

INGREDIENTS:
½ cup chopped cucumber
½ cup chopped avocado
1 egg white
2 tsp. powdered milk

In a blender mix all ingredients until they have a smooth, paste-like consistency. You can use the mask immediately or refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
Apply 2 tablespoons of the cucumber avocado mask to your face and neck in circular upward motions. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes, or until dry. To remove the mask simply rinse your face and neck with warm water, followed by a cold water rinse. Finally, pat dry your face and neck.

2 Lemon Egg-White Mask

INGREDIENTS:
Juice from half a lemon, strained
1 egg white

Beat together the egg white and lemon juice for three full minutes. Apply directly to your face, avoiding your eyes, and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water and apply a moisturizer or cream.
