“WHAT DID YOU DO?!?” She screamed at Reyven, as he sighed and replied. “I wrapped him up, and sent him to the police station. Okay?” “Good.” He smiled, and jerked it back in. They walked in opposite directions, him going back to the house, and her going back to shopping. She stopped, and looked behind. No one was there. She looked ahead no one was there. She looked to the sides, nothing. Not even a store. Just blackness. And her. “Wh-hat?” A grrr arose, and something stepped out of the darkness.
“I am Galdar.” “Wh-ho?” His eyes lit red, and he peered at her. “Galdar. I trained Reyven. I am his mentor.” “You’re lying! HYA!” She kicked at him, and he blocked. His face was unchanged, and he grabbed her wrist. “LISTEN!” She shook. She looked into his eyes, and saw his anger. “No-one could be that cold…” “Except me… I trained him… and now look at what he did! He doesn’t pray, he doesn’t thank me. He will die for his disobedience.” She shook, this time not because of his coldness, but because of a gust opf wind.
“Who?” “Hello. Galdar.” Reyven appeared, staring at him. “Where are we, Reyven?” Galdar opened his mouth to speak, but Reyven cut him off. “We’re in your mind. We are telepaths. I was checking up on you, and saw Galdar. So your not dead.” “No. But you will be. Let us battle. In a ring.” Reyven looked at him, and disappeared. Galdar shook his head, and then disappeared.
Reyven punched his punching bag, three times, and then spun around with a kick. He jabbed, and then used his knee to dislodge the leather, and then flipped up, with an uppercut, to spill the concrete onto the floor. “Too easy.” His mind traveled back, and then he realized the time. “Galdar. Your mine. You killed my family. Your next.”
He jumped out the door, and crashed into the ring. He began powering up, as Galdar appeared in the ring. “BEGIN!” Galdar shouted. With a kick, Reyven fell to the ground. He flipped back up, only to be met with a punch to the stomach. His face grew red, but he still tried to attack. He tried a jab, but it was anticipated and blocked by Galdar. Galdar smashed Reyven in the face, and then used a jump kick to leave him on the ground. “Ka…Me…Ha…Me…Ha.” Galdar shouted, as the energy blast fell on Reyven’s motionless body. His eyes fluttered, viewing only a foot, crashing on his face. He caught a glimpse of someone in the background. “R-Ripclaa…”
“C’mon Galdar. Let’s dance.” From behind, a large Virgo popped out. “You remember me. The name’s Ripclaw. Find out why.” Ripclaw’s hand grew pointed, and it began to form into a claw. “Let’s go then.” Ripclaw slashed at Galdar, knocking him to the ground. Galdar began to bleed, from the nose.
“Bastard. Made me bleed. Eat my move. GALDARAT!” The beam came out, only more focused, nailing Ripclaw in the shoulder. Blood poured from the hole, as Ripclaw screamed. “Now, I have waited a long time for this. See you in… Arrr…” Galdar’s stomach burst open, revealing a hand, glowing bright red.
Ripclaw fell to the ground, as did Reyven. “So, you got passed Galdar.” “No. They didn’t. They should know about my powers. GALDAR’S BACKSLASH!” A yellow streak appeared, and Reyven looked down. “No… My… maneuver…” His eyes flashed closed, as he saw what the yellow streak did to him. It left him in two pieces, one on top of the other. “Good job, Galdar. Care to take care of Ripclaw as well?” “Most certainly.”
Above a dead world, one glowing moon hung suspended in a cloud-veiled turqoise. It’s light hit the ground easily, and steady. “He will not win. Ripclaw does not stand a chance.” “You are correct. We must send another.” “I will.” The rebellion leader looked back, at the whipped boy. “Falkon?” Falkon smiled, and glared as his fifteen year old legs wobbled at the chance to see his brother.
“Very well. You will leave in the morning. Ready the pod!” A lackey appeared and started to wash a small green pod. “But, the masters will come in the morning!” The rebel leader, named Poe, stroked his beard, and then signaled for the lackey to ship him off. “Go. And remember your mission. You must defeat Galdar and Parrock, or all is doomed. The planet was called Virgo. It was Reyven’s home planet, and home to the few Virgos left in the galaxy.
The planet had been wiped out, by an army of alien races. Galdar was one of the only traitor Virgos. He had hoped to steal Reyven, but instead, he made him stronger. Parrock was not a Virgo. He was a very powerful being, from a race named Gurro. He was the sole survivor of his race, not because he was smart or evaded the attack, but because he was the attacker. He was a traitorous bastard, and they had hoped for him to be stopped.
The green pod hovered before it flashed off, almost saying goodbye to them. Its shields went up, making a blue aura, covering its leafy surface. The fifteen year old Virgo saluted the rebel leader, as his pod flashed out of sight. “God bless him. And god help him.”
Galdar pointed at Ripclaw, and his claws began to break. He smiled grimly, and then allowed the claws to rip his skin. His smile grew bigger, as his attention grew more. That was his flaw. The skitterings of Belle’s feet were not heard, as she slid over to Reyven. “Here. Take this.” She passed him a Senzu bean, and his feet reattached. His pain was unimaginable, but it was flushed out, as he stood. She threw one of the beans to Ripclaw.
Galdar noticed the bean, just as Ripclaw chewed it, and swallowed. A door slammed shut, as Parrock ran up the stairs. “It’s go time.” Galdar’s leg flashed, as it struck Belle in the face. Ripclaw jumped up, and nailed him in the back. Reyven stood back, helping Belle to her feet. She looked up, her eyes sparkling, as he turned his head. “Stay here. This is something I want to do. Alone.” He signaled to Ripclaw to back down, and he did so. Reyven tapped Galdar on the shoulder, and nailed him in the face.
“Bitch. You killed my father. And my mother. Your pain shall be neverending. Until I decide to kill you.” His hand bashed Galdar’s head, as blood began to pour out of his eye. “You can’t…” “SHUT UP! I’m tired of listening to you. You pathetic, traitorous dog!” His foot seemed like lightning, as it smashed his face, over and over again. “You made my life a living hell. I’m gonna pay you back… IN SPADES!” His fist crashed on Galdar’s cheek, as he slashed at Galdar’s gut. “YOU BASTARD!” He punched more rapidly, every punch connecting on Galdar’s face.
Reyven’s face grew more angry, every second, as he watched his own fists blanket Galdar’s face. Galdar tried to move, but every punch was stiffening his face. His eyes were pounded and black, and his nose was bleeding a rich black liquid. “Time for the real version of my move. BACKSLASH!!!” He executed a perfect form, with his hand, which struck Galdar’s face with tremendous power. Galdar tried to open his eyes, but it was just bombarded with more punches. “POWER KICK!” Reyven jumped up, as he brought his foot crashing down, on Galdar’s broken back. “Tr-r-an-ssporrrttteerrrr—le-vel---two” Galdar’s mouth curled into a wicked smile, as he disappeared into a yellow light. And then, all was dark.
Reyven fell back to his knees, and he put his hands to his face. His eyes watered, and the tears were instantly wiped off, by Reyven’s sleeve. His eyes dimmed, and he lifted himself up. “Never thought it would come to this. TIME SEARCH!!!” He spread his arms and screamed, as his arms fell limp to the ground, and so did he. Belle shot over to help him up, but found no pulse or heartbeat. “No…”Ripclaw put his hand on her shoulder, as they both mourned for the loss of Reyven.
Meanwhile, in cyberspace, Reyven’s astral form was searching the galaxy for anywhere Galdar went. Light streaked in brilliant colors, that only he could have shrugged and passed by. His eyes lit up, when he saw the silver base at one of the planets. He looked as a green pod splashed through the light next to him, and it disappeared as fast as it appeared.
He went closer, and searched below. One of the downfalls of this maneuver, was the fact he couldn’t use his telepathy. He looked down below, to see one of his old friends. Poe. He outstretched his hand, but it just went right through, as he watched his people being whipped into working. His face angered, and he returned to his physical body.
“ARRRGGGHHH!!” He sat up, and flipped into the air. “I’m going to Virgo.” He screamed, as the others were stunned by this quickly displayed anger. Before Belle could open her mouth, Reyven was already aboard his pod, and packing. He slipped his laptop onto the desk in the middle of the pod, and pressed a button. His sword materialized in front of him. Then he walked over to a huge machine, and lifted it up, and into a new position. He looked over, to see Ripclaw and Belle staring at him.
“I told you, I’m going.” Belle backed off, but Ripclaw walked aboard. “I’m coming too.” Reyven glanced and let it be. “Belle?” “I’m coming…” She hopped aboard, and the three began their lift off.
Poe watched the overseer flying above the crowd, as he continued his work. He was picking the berries off of a branch, and putting them into a bucket. He held one hand below the bucket, which was really powering up, and the other hand stripped the branch free. He looked again, as the overseer came down for a whipping. His powered up hand aimed, and he glanced again. The overseer began his whip, and Poe struck. The blast hurried across the field, and nailed the overseer. “EVERYONE ON THE OVERSEER!” The overseer screamed, as the many slaves piled onto him, shooting energy blasts too.
His last breathes were very quick, and he had a less torturous death than he deserved. The many slaves ran into the cabins, and powered up their pods. They would take one or two minutes to power up, but they had faith. In the moment a ship was seen above them, their faith was smothered. The ship sank to the ground, and the door opened.
“Come with me!” Poe grabbed four others, and ran to the ship, as his hope gleamed more brightly than ever. They reached the ship, and three figures motioned the few remaining Virgos aboard. “C’mon!” The troops had gathered, and were attacking, firing ki blasts at the ship. Ripclaw jumped into the crowd, nailing four of the troops with the jump. He put his hands out, and screamed as forty troops surrounded him.
“Get back to your cage, Ripper or whatever!” Ripclaw stood up, and looked at his friends and his people. “I have lived in slavery, and I will die, in slavery.” The grins on the troops widened as Ripclaw became more serious. “That’s why… today I DIE!!!” Ripclaw jump kicked one of the troops, knocking him to the ground. The troop blasted at Reyven, and nailed him back into the ship.
Ripclaw shot another troop, but more poured onto him. He fell to the ground, as the forty troops grabbed at him. Reyven held his arm, as he walked out onto the planet. “RIPCLAW!” Reyven jumped into the crowd, only to be held back by Ripclaw’s telepathy. “Goodbye, my friend. I’ll take ‘em down… now.” Ripclaw sent Reyven back into the ship, and the ship lifted off, as Ripclaw exploded in a power blast, that sent troops flying every where.
“You bastard!” He walked up to the remaining troop. “You can’t do this to people, and if I have to use all of my energy, I w…” A blast sent him to the ground, as the two troops sent ki blasts, and energy at him, killing him quickly.
Poe watched out the window, as the troops killed his friend. The speed rose, and then the ship disappeared in a pallet of green and pink. He sat back in his chair, and his eyes closed, it was a long trip, he might as well sleep.
