It all started back in 1996...
Yoshiki Okamoto, Executive Director at Capcom, left the company during the making of Biohazard2. Hideki Kamiya took on the making of the game, which was about 60% finished. Despite the enormous time-pressure Capcom decided to start all over again. Almost a whole game was scrapped and this prototype version was never made public.
When Capcom released photos of the prototype, fans and unfans alike begged for it's release. Even now, they still have not responded to their pleas for it to be in retails, and it seems that no one will ever be able to try this glorious creation from the company that brought us our favorite game of all time. But we will never give up... |
