Nemesis May Be the Last RE Game We See on the PSX
From what Capcom announced at E3 (a video game industry expo), Nemesis may be the last RE game on the PSX. They seem to be favoring Dreamcast as their platform of choice and may move solely to that filthy system. I hope at least, they move back to PSX when PSX2 comes out, but by then who knows what will have happened. If you're against the RE series leaving PSX, e-mail this person and let Capcom know how you feel. E-mail complaints to megamail@capcom.com.
Confirmed Game Information
The game will feature Jill Valentine and possible Carlos as playable characters. Jill is fresh from her encounter at the mansion from the original game, and is in Raccoon City. At this point, it is before Leon and Claire arrive. 24 Hours later she is knocked unconcious (then you probably play as Carlos as she "sleeps") and then Jill awakens sometime the following day, after Leon and Claire are long gone. The game is built on almost the same engine and will try to fill in the plot of what happened between RE1 and RE2 and also set us up for Code Veronica and any other sequels. The set release date is this December 19, 1999.
Screenshots
Here are some screenshots from PSM. I will continue scouring the internet to find more and will post them when I find them. If you see pics that I don't have, send them to bills_re_page@hotmail.com and I'll give you credit for them. In fact, if you find any confirmed news about Nemesis, send it my way. Here's a shit load more pics that are all on another site.

Articles
Here I've posted articles and links to articles concerning Nemesis. If you come across one while on the net, send a link to me and I'll give you credit for finding it on my site.
Visually the game looks like Resident Evil 2, and the characters have the same walking and injury animations as before. One difference in the game's appearance is the zombies themselves. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis has ten different types of zombies carried over from Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2. Some have different clothing, and others look a little fleshier, like they haven't been dead that long.

As in Resident Evil 2, you get to play as another character (Carlos Oliveira) halfway through the game. Jill becomes infected with the virus and is unable to continue in her quest. Luckily Carlos is around for you to control so that he can get the cure and save Jill so that she can continue on her quest. Once she regains consciousness, the time frame of the game is set 24 hours after the events in Resident Evil 2. During Jill's adventure, decisions that you make will affect the game's storyline down the road.

"Resident Evil: Nemesis is supposed to take place 24 hours before and after the events of Resident Evil 2. We follow Jill, Chris and Barry through when they find out the horror of Raccoon City through Chris' diary and their escape and planned break-in on the Umbrella Europe Headquarters. This looks amazing."

Capcom Confirms Resident Evil Nemesis
The third in the series really is coming to PlayStation (no joke!).
April 08, 1999
Resident Evil fans no longer need to worry about whether they'll love or even like Dino Crisis' dinosaurs better than Resident Evil's zombies. Not only are we sure they'll like them, we also received confirmation of Capcom's intent to bring Resident Evil Nemesis, the third in the series, to PlayStation this fall, enabling gamers to enjoy them both.
So, Capcom is spoiling gamers again with two entirely different games both in the "survival" genre, a little for the survival-horror fans and for the survival-panic fans. Both games are planned for fall 1999.
IGNPSX called Capcom after seeing that the game was listed on a Babbages' release calendar this morning and Capcom confirmed that game is indeed official. Taking place 24 hours before and 24 hours after Resident Evil 2, this split prequel/sequel fills gamers in with details about the two star characters, Leon Kennedy and Clair Redfield and enhances the RE world with more gory horror that gamers loved so much in the first two games of the series
IGNPSX will have more information on Resident Evil Nemesis in the upcoming weeks, and will provide full details at E3 this May.

Resident Evil: Nemesis
Take your first look at screen-shots from Capcom's most coveted survival-horror game. Clean screens!
May 5, 1999
Those who say that Capcom has lost it have lost it themselves. Capcom is rocking the last year of the century harder than it ever has. With Dino Crisis, a totally original thriller in the adventure genre, and the 1999 release of Resident Evil Nemesis, the third in the RE series, plus a slew of other fantastic titles (such as Street Fighter Alpha 3), Capcom fans should be partying like it's 1999.
Sure, there was reason to worry, at one point. Codename Veronica was introduced last year in Tokyo as a pure Dreamcast title, and the Capcom announcement that RE3 would appear on PlayStation (at last year's E3) looked like ashes in the wind in October (at the Fall Tokyo Game Show). Given R&D Director Yoshiki Okamoto's lust for technology, and Dreamcast fulfilling that dream - at least at the time - all seemed doomed for PS owners.
But that's just history now. After Nemesis' confirmation in April, the screen-shots were only a matter of time. Now, thanks to PSM, Imagine's independent PlayStation magazine, which has the first shots, we have them, too.
Taking place 24 hours before and 24 hours after, Resident Evil 2, this split prequel/sequel fills gamers in with details of Jill Valentine, who starred in the first of the series. Jill is rendered unconscious halfway through this new story, and is woken up 24 hours after Resident Evil 2, where the rest of the game takes place. Kind of cool, actually, but a little confusing at first.
Gamers will get the whole Resident Evil package again - graphically, gameplay-wise, and through waves of sheer horror, but better than before. Graphically, Nemesis brings the prerendered backgrounds into play, but they appear far more detailed than ever. Explosions and other particle effects also seem to have been improved. Additionally, Jill appears to have another outfit.
There's not much more to tell at this point. Other than we're sure the game's going to bring home suspense and fright better than ever. Come E3, we'll have a Niagara-like outpouring of our first impressions of the game as we PLAY it for the first time! Woooo-hoooooo, my knees are shaking!

Suggestions
Back in the day, I had a very popular section where people could read and post suggestions. The fans that have been visiting site since the beginning know this. Well, I've decided to re-open it. It was always there, but I haven't updated it in months. From now on, I'll be posting on it again. I also plan to build a message board system so I don't even have to do any work, it'll be powered by the people that post messages. That'll be soon (by summer's end) but for now e-mail suggestions, opinions, etc. to bills_re_page@hotmail.com
Message Board
Click here to go to the board's homepage and subscribe to the list, or just view other's messages. I think you have to join to post messages, so you can do that if you want. This board is for anyone to post their opinions on any RE-related topic. Post suggestions for upcoming games, reviews or current games, codes, tricks, secrets, any shit you could ever want to. I want this thing to get big and be full of messages. Get it rolling by posting your opinions now.
