| THE SUN CONURE |

| Sun conures are some of the most brilliantly colored birds in the parrot world. Their name comes from the bright yellow, red and orange of their feathers. Of course, it could also come from their "sunny" personalities! Suns are a cuddly bird that like to interact with their humans. They love to cuddle under blankets or crawl down the front of your shirt and peek their heads out of the neckline. Suns can learn to talk, but are not as well known for their talking ability as some of the other species. They love to play with toys and are very fond of swings. Although they can be noisy during their natural call times during the early morning and evening, they are not an unusually noisy bird. |
