Heath on himself: He calls himself accepting, happy, dreamy and nervous. We call him gorgeous, easygoing, friendly and just plain fantastic!
Living in the USA: Heath lives in LA, but he calls Australia home. Not spending time with his two younger sisters (he also has an older one) is his greatest fear in life. Being so far away makes me feel like Im not having an influence on their lives, he says.
Love life: We know, it sucks, but Heath does have a girlfriend actress Heather Graham. He also dated Billy Zanes sister Lisa while filming Roar.
School daze: Heath attended Perth private boys school Guildford Grammar, where he excelled in drama and sports. At age 15, his hockey coach told him to choose one or the other, so he picked performing arts. I remember doing theatre and workshops, he says. I blinked my eyes and suddenly it was an occupation.
Screen life: In 1996 he started on the road to stardom playing a gay guy in the TV series Sweat. In 1997 he appeared in Blackrock, Roar and Paws, and appeared in Home and Away as Scott. After last years Two Hands success, he shot to fame as the irresistible and sexy Patrick Verona in 10 Things I Hate About You and in the civil war film The Patriot, for which he was personally chosen by Mel Gibson.
First kiss: "It was awfully corny," Heath told GF. "It was a truth or dare kiss. It was with a good friend of mine, Rebecca. We still laugh about it."
Dating games: Heaths idea of a fab first date shows the kind of spontaneous guy he is. "It depends on the girl," he says. "Im the kind of guy who would head straight out on some sort of road adventure to a destination like Las Vegas."
Fave bands: Spiderbait, silverchair and U2.
Fave food: Sushi.
Loves: The outdoors, whether it be surfing, snowboarding, walking or climbing. He also loves rainy days, laughing and black and white movies.
