Red and Blue codes...

99 of Any Item
To get 99 of any item, first put the item you want to multiply in the sixth item slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man almost all the way north of the town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle.

Right after that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and, when you you reach the water's edge, use SURF and make your way to Seafoam island.

When you get to seafoam island, swim up and down the beach until you run into a Pokemon called "M" (a glitch like Missingno.) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH HIM! After that, you should have 99 of your sixth item!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Celadon Slot Tips
All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot. If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Boss Tactics
Here are your best bets for beating the Gym Leaders:

Brock: Use water or grass Pokemon.
Misty: Use grass pokemon or electric.
Leiutenant Surge: use a rock or ground pokemon and he's toast.
Erika: Use fire pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.
Sabrina: Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner.
Koga: This poison pokemon lover will be deafeted easily by using psy pokemon.
Blaine: This fire trainer will use fire pokemon against you so you can use water or ice.
Final boss: Giovanni, the team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - use water, ice, plant and he's out of there (and talk to him again and he gives something to you).
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cut Down Grassy Areas
Once you get the HM CUT, your pokemon can cut down grassy areas. Use CUT and it will cut a two by two area. Wild Pokémon will not attack you in the area you cut.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Easy Level Gain
To easily gain experience, simply switch the Pokémon you want to train with the top Pokémon on your list. When you go into battle the Pokémon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokémon. Once you win the battle the beginning Pokémon and the fighting Pokémon will both gain experience points. ,br>
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extra Damage
While fighting, select your desired attack. When it says you are going to use that attack hold down the A button until your opponent's life stops draining. If your timing was right you'll do more damage than usual.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fight Land Creatures in Water
To fight creatures that normally live on land in water, go to the water around Cinnabar Island or Seafoam Islands (The only place you can be randomly attacked while swimming.) Swim along the shore of any island and you will fight land creatures. (You have to swim on a place where the square is half land and half water.) Instead of fighting a set group of monsters in the water, you actually fight monsters from the last place you were. So to get safari zone monsters, you need to go to the section of the safari zone with that monster, let your time run out, then go to the coast. Using this trick I have caught Kangaskhan, Scyther, and Tauros!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Get Mewtwo
After you have gotten all eight of your badges you need to go beat the pokemon league. The credits will roll and then the menu pops up again. DO NOT RESET THE GAME!!!! Go to Cerulean Citygo north to the brige where you faced 5 trainers before the path to Bill's house. Turn left and there will be a large area of water. Surf until you get to a cave. You will find Mewtwo in that cave.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
PKMN With Really High Levels
1.Talk to the old man in Viridian City who shows you how to catch pokemon(wow he has 50 pokeballs!). 2.Fly directly to Cinnabar Island. 3.Put your strongest pokemon on your team. 4.You might want to save now. 5.Surf on the shore where the land touches water. 6.Keep Surfing until you run into one of these strong pokemon. These pokemon are well above level 100. Unfortunately, they will revert back to Level 100 if they gain any experience points. Rare Candy is the only thing that raises their level. They can be used in a two-player battle without losing their level, so have fun liquidating your friends! NOTE: This is a bug in the game. It will not work in newer versions of Pokemon and may crash your game if you try it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Secret Coins
Walk around pressing A in the Casino, you'll find a bunch of coins.

Yellow codes...

Get Charmander
Travel to Cerulean City, and talk with the man on the other side of Nugget Bridge.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Get Bulbasaur
After you get Squirtle, go to Cerulean city, and in one of the houses there is a lady, who has Pokemon next to her. Talk to her and she will ask you a question. Choose the yes and she will ask you another question. Choose yes again and you get Bulbasaur! NOTE: Pikachu must love you for this, try the Easy Love code.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Get Squirtle
After getting off the S.S. Anne, and getting the Thunderbadge from the gym leader, Lt. Surge, then you can get Squirtle from Officer Jenny in the middle of town.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Easy Love
After you heal Pikachu at a Pokécenter, give Pikachu 10-15 potions, even though they don't work. Then, talk to him and he will love you more. This is a great way to get Melanie's Bulbasaur.

Pinball codes...

Easy Points
There are several ways of snagging millions of points in Pokémon Pinball! One way is to upgrade the Poké Ball to a Master Ball (by lighting up Evo lights) and then hitting the targets.
Another way is to choose a captured (and evolved) Pokémon, strip it of all of its items and experience, then whack the ball into the hole!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Evolving Pokemon
Red Field: Shoot the pokeball through the left outside loop. Each time you pass through the loop, one evolution arrow will light up. When all three arrows are lit up, shoot the ball into the Evolution cave. Then choose the pokemon you want to evolve. For example, if you choose shellder, make the pokeball hit all three Water Stones then shoot the ball into the hole in the middle of the field.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blue Field: Shoot the pokeball through the left loop. Each time the pokeball passes through the loop one evolution arrow will light up. When all three arrows are lit up shoot your ball into SLOWPOKE'S mouth. Then choose the pokemon you want to evolve. For example, if you choose pikachu make the pokeball hit all three Thunder Stones then shoot the ball in the hole in the middle of the field.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extra Poké Balls
To get additional Poké Balls, you must get a Cave bonus. Thereafter, every 20th time the letters are lit, you will receive an additional ball!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find the Rare Zapdos
To get Zapdos, the legendary bird of thunder, go to Lavendar Town on the Red game board. Make sure all of the arrows to the right loop are lit up and none are blinking(to light them up, shoot the pokeball through the right loop). Now, shoot into Bellsprout's mouth and there is a good chance that you will find a Zapdos.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Getting Great, Ultra, and Master Balls
To get a Great, Ultra, or a Master ball you must light up the three lights at the top of either table. You do this by touching the little rectangles directly under the lights, and the lights can be moved with the A button, so you can go through the same rectangle and still go from a great ball to an ultra ball to a Master ball.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Getting Stones and Experience in the Evolution Stage Easier
To get stones and experience easier, just simply let you ball go down the drain if you have your saver on and let the ball when it shoots it back up, get the stone or experience for you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Catch Venonat
To catch Venonat, go to Fushia City on the blue table and enter Catch'em Mode.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Catch Mew
After playing the Mewtwo bonus stage three times, try to go to the Indigo Plateau. Mew will appear there, but although you can see him you still have to attack him over 50 times before he is captured.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mewtwo Bonus Stage
To get the Mewtwo bonus stage, play both bonus stages per table (ie Seel and Meowth stages on the blue table, Gengar and Diglett on red.) The next bonus stage will be Mewtwo's stage.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the volcano level, the Moltres egg will stop your vehicle. You can sit here as long as you want. Throw an apple near a Charmander, and it will tell all it's buddies there's food to be had. Throw food at the other one and he'll call even more. You can get up to six Charmanders, and you can lure them closer with the pokemon food. To get them to hold still and look straight at you for an AWESOME picture, play the Poke Flute.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gyarados
First, at the beginning of the level you have to hit a Magikarp at the Mankey. Then later on, by one of the waterfalls the Magikarp will fall down. Throw a pesterball at it and he will go into the waterfall. Then, out comes a Gyrados.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Pass the River Stage
At the end of the level on the right side you see a switch. Above the switch you will see a bump on the wall. Throw a pesterball at it and a porygon will jump out and land on the switch.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to hit the Valley Switch
At the beginning of the level, throw pesterballs at the squirtles to make them leave the river. Further down the river you'll find the squirtles sunning themselves at the base of a steep hill. At the top is a mankey. As you pass the squirtles, throw pesterballs at them, causing them to roll up the hill. If your timing is right, the mankey will fall down and land near the switch. As you approach the switch, throw another pesterball at the mankey, knocking him backwards onto the switch.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amnesia Psyduck
You have to register ALL 151 Pokémon in the Hall of Fame some how. Whenever you beat a tournament (or Gym Leader Castle), your six Pokemon are entered into the Hall of Fame. It doesn't matter whether you use rental Pokemon or your own, but you can't have any gaps. Once you've filled it all up, you are awarded a free Psyduck bonus Pokemon that knows the Amnesia technique. The only problem is getting Mew into it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Surfing Pikachu
To teach your Pikachu Surf, you need to first unlock the Round 2 mode. Then do the following:
--Enter the R-2 Prime Cup's Master Ball division (you have to beat the first three divisions first).
--Assemble a team that contains a Pikachu that does not yet know Surf. You HAVE to use a Pikachu from your Game Boy game. You cannot unlock Surfing Pikachu using a Rental Pokémon.
--Do not register your team! Pick it directly from your Game Boy cartridge.
You now have to beat the Prime Cup's Master Ball division using a three-Pokémon team that always contains Pikachu, uh oh. Pikachu has to be in every one of the eight battles. You are not allowed to use any continues. If you do, you won't get Surfing Pikachu. Once you have fulfilled all the above conditions and beaten the cup, you are shown an award screen with Pikachu standing on a surfboard. From here on, Pikachu can use the Surf technique both in battle and during gameplay (Game Boy versions only). If you've got Pokémon Yellow, you can now also access the hidden Surfing Pikachu mini-game(oh yeah!). Simply go to the small hut on the northern beach of Route 19 and talk to the surfing dude.
