While Rocky played for the Hurricanes he won a National championship in his very first year playing. He would of gone again but they lost to Nebraska and were out of the title race. The Rock graduated Miami with a degree in criminology. In 95 he signed a contract with the Canadian football league. He played 1 year then decided to go to his roots. Wrestling! In 96 he signed with the WWF and was sent down to the USWA to work on his skills. His ring name was "Flex Kavana". By October of that year he was brought up to the big leagues. His first WWF name "Rocky Miavia" was formed by combining his grandfathers name (Peter Miavia) and his fathers name (Rock Johnson) combined the two names together and got "Rocky Miavia". On November 15, 1999 The Rock began his rien as WWF champion. That was also th night he joined the corporation. His then lost the title to Mankind on December 29, 1999 after Stone Cole hit Rocky with a chair. The Rock's second title rein began at Royal Rumble 99 in an I quit match against mankind. But once again Rocky lost it to Mankind on January 26, 1999 on Half Time Heat. I remember that show well. LOL The Brahmabull would once again get another title shot against Mankind on Febuary 14, 1999 at St. Valentines Day Massacre. With the help of The Big Show he became a 3 time WWF champ! At Wrestlemania 15 Rock went up against Stone Cold Steve Austin. After a brutal battle the Rock lost the title to the Biggest Piece of trailer park trash walking gods green earth! Stone Cold! The Rocks next title rein began when he took on HHH at Backlash which took place on April 30, 2000. After winning the title off the self proclaimed game Rock carried the title for 6 months until finally losing it to Angle At No Way Out (2001) 6th title rein started. He defeated Angle for the belt and went on against SC Steve Austin at WM 17 where he dropped the belt to Austin after Vince McMahon helped Austin turn heel. :::Rock Info::: |
