| Cookie-Marie is my brown Caped rat. She is a litte over a year old now. :) She shares a cage with her "roomate" Stinky. Every day Cookie Marie RUNS as fast as she can to greet me as I wake up. She just knows that a few minutes later she's going to get fresh water and a fresh bowl of food. After she takes what she wants, she knocks the bowl over, thinking I might give her something other than her diet. Sometimes I'll give her and Stinky a little wedge of my apples. :) Then Cookie Marie will spend the rest of the day cleaning herself, playing with Stinky, fighting with Stinky over food and who gets to take a drink first, and sleeping. And of course I play with her too! But she likes to bite a little. Her mother did the same thing, so its a genetic thing. Cookie Marie is getting pretty fat in her old age! Sure she gets a lot of exersize! But sinse she's getting pretty old, her body doesn't proccess the food as quicky any more! She is my oldest Rat. |
