Sitting here by the window ever so quiet not making a sound.
I look out of the window, from the black skies the rain falls down.
There once was a time when it was so warm outside,
the beautiful sun made the scene so nice.
But those days are gone now and so has the beautiful bright sun.
And everything's now covered in ice.
Cold, cold heart, What is it they've done to you?
Feelings and emotions are all lost
Cold, cold heart. There's nothing left here for you now.
Turned to stone and covered with frost.
Cold, cold lonely heart.
The freedom and space of which I once ran through,
the fields of love I once played,
Have now been caged up with such a high wall.
And all my happiness has drained away.
The walls are now ever so strong,
The iron bars have engulfed my heart.
The wire wraps around my soul ever so tight,
Feels my loneliness will never part.
Once filled with passions and pleasures that life always gave,
felt like the whole world was mine.
Now I'm trapped within this empty void.
Within isolation till the end of time.
Seems the sorrow will stay forever,
Feels like it will never part.
Now this life I must lead,
Will be thanks to my cold, cold heart.
