Trina Speaks To Tha Kids: Trina spoke to almost 50 children in Cincinnati's troubled Over-The Rhine neighborhood, which was the scene of riots in April of 2001, due to police brutality. Trina appeared at the Over-The-Rhine Community Center before a performance at Tequila's Night Club. Her appearance is part of an effort by the Peace Down The Way Coalition and WIZ 100.9 in an attempt to halt the violence that is plaguing the community. The show was promoted by Cincinatti's TC Entertainment. "Sometimes it can be just that one person who reaches out that can turn a child's life around," Trina said. That means a lot to me." Trina said that she runs a charity, the Ronnie Harris Foundation, for children with meningitis. "My message to the kids is just to work hard, stay in school and stay positive and focused," she continued. Fabolous Arrested For Third Time: Fabolous was arrested for possession of a loaded semi-automatic firearm yesterday (March 24), according to police reports. This arrest marks the rapper’s third altercation in 2003. Fabolous, born John Jackson, reportedly attempted to perform at New York Club Webster Hall last night when club bouncers found a gun on the entertainer’s bodyguard during a routine frisking. The entourage was turned away according to witnesses. Club security then called police after noticing the bodyguard, 42-year-old Roger Fenrick, put the gun in the car after they parked their vehicle nearby. Police arrested the entire group of five as they made their way back to the club for the show. Police charge they found a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic pistol that none of the entourage would admit to owning. Fabolous plead not guilty to all charges levied against him. 25-year-old Fabolous was arrested for driving with a suspended license and gun possession on the very next day on January 24 and 25. The gun possession charge was dismissed earlier this month. Biggie's Mom Dismisses Lil Kim's Allegations: In a recent interview, Voletta Wallace aired out her feelings on Lil Kim, who made the shocking allegations that the Notorious B.I.G. abused her and urged her to have an abortion. "All this stuff, black eyes, pulling guns..that's a bit much," Ms. Wallace said. "If my son had pulled a gun on Lil Kim, I wish he would have blown her brains out." While Ms. Wallace said that she respected Lil Kim, she said that Lil Kim was only thinking about herself and that Kim was throwing unneeded shots at her deceased son. "I'm kind of sick of little Kim right now. I really would like for her to leave my son alone. Get on with your life." Ms. Wallace compared Kim to Benedict Arnold and said that she had never heard of the abortion allegations. "I didn't even know the scenario behind the whole abortion. I never asked my son about love and Lil Kim. I wanted to puke. I had a headache the whole night." Ms. Wallace, who recently honored the mothers of other slain rappers, said that she didn't want her son's name tainted. "Leave him alone.
