- Keeping:becomes very tame and affectionate even when wild-caught-noisy and demanding-excellent talker
- Appearance:large white and pink cockatoo-reddish-pink crest
Umbrella cockatoo(Cacatua alba)
- Size:18 inches(45 cm)
- Keeping:very tame when raised from young but can be unpredictable when older-poor talker-very noisy-not the best cockatoo for a pet
- Appearance:large totally white cockatoo-broad white crest
Greater sulphur-crested cockatoo(Cacatua galerita)
- Size:19 inches(47 cm)
- Keeping:very affectionate-tames easily-fair talker-very destructive-popular species-makes quite a good household pet if given a companion or lots of attention
- Appearance:large white cockatoo with pale orange or dark yellow crest
Lesser sulphur-crested cockatoo(Cacatua sulphurea)

- keeping:very lively and active-destructive and noisy-poor talker-best cockatoo for a household pet

- Keeping:very pretty cockatoo but very hard to tame-not
affectionate-better kept in pairs or groups outdoors
- Appearance:very pretty small pink cockatoo
