Much has already been written about Joe Cole with media attention constantly surrounding the teenage prodigy.

Around a dozen clubs tried to tempt the Camden kid to join them, but he chose to stay in London with West Ham.

That decision seems to have paid off for the attacking midfielder who broke into the Hammers first team for the 3rd round FA Cup tie with Swansea City in January 1999.

Widely tipped to make as big an impact on the Premiership as Michael Owen, it's still early days for Joe, but he's already showed glimpses of what lies in store for Hammers fans.
