Willennium is the newest cd by Will Smith. This cd is overall much better
than his previous. This cd has a more diverse list of songs where as Big Willie Style lacked the diversity. This cd ranges from the disco sounds of "Will2K" to the
hip hop sounds of "Freakin It" then to the hard rap of "Pontas". This cd
shows the evolution of the "Fresh Prince" to Will Smith who is now a full
fledged mainstream artist. This cd is superb becuase "who can listen through
the whole cd and never getting bored doing it?" The cd also brings back the
soundtrack song of "Wild Wild West" from the motion picture Wild Wild West (which in all honesty wasn't that bad. Right?). In this cd he even throws in his
wife for a number in "Afro Angel". "Will2K" which is the anthem for the
millennium is great in that his lyrics are great with K-Ci singing in the
refrain during the song. "Freakin It" (my personnal favorite) reminds of of
in a "Getting Jiggy Wit It" but with different subject matter. Overall not
only is he the king of the summer movie hits but is also "Will Smith the rap
game". This cd is a definite for whoever liked the song "Wild Wild West" or
"Gettin Jiggy Wit It". Even if the Y2K bug didn't destroy our systems, Will2K
will definitely get into our systems and you will be singing "Freakin It"
after listening to a couple of times.
