| Self-Titled Debut Album "BURN BURN BURN!" That is the chant of Zack de La Rocha (talking about all the people that let injustices happen in the world today) in the first track of Rage Against the Machine's debut cd Rage Against the Machine. This is the first of three Rage cds. This is a very powerful cd because it combines very good music with a political message. The music itself cannot be compared to anyone. The lyrics are excellent ranging from the hardships of the Mexicans to their views on censorship. Tom Morello does the best work on his guiatr that I have heard ever. The riffs are one of a kind and fit in greatly with the lyrics. He changes the guitar's sound to one of a syntheiser. The cd is great in the way that it changes songs to a very fast paced, riff-filled song to a very slow and refreshing sound. The singles from this cd are "Bombtrack", "Killing in the Name", Bullet in the Head", and "Freedom". The singles are great. The best part I think of this cd is that every single song sounds different and is excellent. I can easily say from hearing this cd that political music is back and better than ever. This cd is a MUST have for any Rage fan and a MUST have for anyone that loves rock music. Rating: FIVE STARS OUT OF FIVE. written by: The Music Reviewer a.k.a.
