| PULL is: Katherine-vocals/guitars/programming Tyler King-guitars Alesis-drums PULL is an industrial-metal band based in St. Louis, Missouri. Our influences are: Ministry, Static-X, Dope, Godhead, Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, and others. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth." A new age has begun. A millenium has been completed and the human race stands head and shoulders above any other that inhabits the earth. Through Darwin's concept of evolution, we have emerged victorious and look to the future with high hopes. Global warming has been reduced by the introductions of new vehicles and a higher consciosness of pollution. New laws have been passed to protect animals in danger of becoming extinct. Computers can recieve and process a million commands in a half a second. Soon, our DVD players, microwaves, CD burners, and telephones will work by themselves because technicians will have discovered a way to make machines intelligent. We work and work and work so that we don't have to work as much. This paradox will eventually render humanity obsolete and we will have nohing left to do but wait until we die. The earth is quickly turning into hell. The age of information has become the age of destruction. The next step in evolution is extinction. "Let us go into the field." Take a look around, everybody. Look at the media. Look in the schools. Look at religious condradiction. Look at the cookie-cutter mid-west lifestyle so prevalent in America. Parents like to say that the images on TV influence children. The media only cares about sex and violence it seems. America is then shocked that the next big trend in schools is to shoot fellow students and teenagers getting pregnant. And that will become the night's top story. This ring of hypocrisy created by ignorant adults allows them to shift their responcibility of raising their children onto the TV. The media is only respnosible for what parents let it do. We are provided with two saviors here in America, our technology and our money. Our third savior is the false institution referred to as Christianity. Hatred and greed are the most prevalent ideals promoted by modern American Christianity. If we can tear it all down, then we'll be on the right track. Tear Christ from his cross and spit in his bloody face. "My eyes have failed looking for my god." "When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison." Come get it. |
