Pokemon The Movie
A group of scientists have been working in a secret laboratory, attempting to create the strongest Pokémon yet in existence. For this, they have taken DNA from a fossilized hair sample (discovered in the Amazon) of the legendary Pokémon Mew, using the elusive creature's genetic code to bio-engineer Mewtwo. Unaware of their creation's power, the scientists and their laboratory are destroyed by the awakening Mewtwo. Angered at his creators for making him the Pokémon equivalent of Frankenstein's monster, Mewtwo swears revenge on the world.
Ash Ketchum is relaxing with his pals Misty and Brock when he is challenged to a Pokémon battle by a neophyte trainer. Ash, aided by his favorite and first Pokémon, Pikachu, easily defeats the trainer. A hologram of a beautiful girl appears, inviting the trio to a party held at the palace on New Island, hosted by her master, "the world's greatest Pokémon trainer." They accept the invitation. Meanwhile, Ash's arch rivals, Team Rocket (the duo of Jessie and James and their Pokémon mascot, Meowth), secretly watch the hologram and vow to attend the party as well.
All of the trainers hoping to attend the party gather at the ferry station seeking passage to New Island. A hurricane shuts the ferry service down, but some enterprising trainers (including Ash, Misty and Brock and Team Rocket) use their Pokémon to cross the dangerous waters. Once at the castle, the trainers are shown to a great hall by Joy, the beautiful girl who appeared in their hologram invitation. She introduces the trainers to their host-Mewtwo, a master trainer and the world's most powerful Pokémon, who reveals his plan to hijack the globe with a specially created race of Super-Pokémon.
What follows is the ultimate Pokémon match of all time, ending with a face-off between Mewtwo and the rare and powerful Mew.

What's on the horizon in the world of Pokémon?
As Pokémon madness spreads across America, players are beginning to realize that the Red and Blue Pokémon Game Boy games are just the tip of the iceberg. The Pokémon trading card game from Wizards of the Coast is already in full swing, and these upcoming Pokémon releases will give you even more ways to show off your Pokémon training skills. Here is a preview of what you have to look forward to from the world of Pokémon.
Pokémon Stadium
While Pokémon Snap features untamed Pokémon as they appear in the wild, Pokémon Stadium will let trainers get down to business and compete in heated battles with trained Pokémon. All 150 Pokémon will be in the game, in full 3D with awesome special attacks and animation sequences. Up to four players will be able to compete in a Pokémon tournament.
One of the most intriguing aspects of Pokémon Stadium is that you'll be able to battle with your most loyal Pokémon straight from your Game Boy cartridge. Thanks to a special adaptor that plugs into your controller, Pokémon data can be transferred straight from your Red or Blue Game Boy game to your Nintendo 64. You'll be able to watch your favorite Pokémon go toe to tail in a 3D competition. Pokémon Stadium will be released this fall (which is at least one good reason to look forward to the start of another school year)!
Pokémon Gold & Pokémon Silver
Optimized for Game Boy Color and featuring at least four new Pokémon, Pokémon Silver and Gold will be the perfect companion Paks to the Red, Blue and Yellow versions of the game. It's clear that they will look phenomenal on Game Boy Color. Details about these titles have been scarce, but we've learned that you'll need the Red and Blue versions of the game to complete your Pokémon collection on Gold and Silver. Pokémon Silver and Gold are gearing up for a Japanese release in June, but an American release date has not been announced.
Pokémon The Card Game for Game Boy
Based on the hit Trading Card Game published by Wizards of the Coast, Pokémon Card GB allows you to learn the subtleties of the Trading Card Game on your Game Boy. Build and refine your deck, trade cards with your friends and become a Pokémon Trading Card Game Master! Coming February 2000.
A POKEMON GAMEBOY PLAYERS HERE'S SOME CODES THAT CAN HELP YOU IN YOUR POKEMON Red/Blue/Yellow ADVENTURE
This Code Only Works for the Yellow Version: Floating Pikachu Glitch
First you have to go to Fushia city with Pikachu and go to the pokemon center. When you're by the center, jump off the hedge and don't let Pikachu follow you. Wait until Pikachu starts walking in place and then start walking away. If you do it right should see Pikachu floating behind you
99 of Any Item
To get 99 of any item, first put the item you want to multiply in the sixth item slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man almost all the way north of the town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle.
Right after that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and, when you you reach the water's edge, use SURF and make your way to Seafoam island.
When you get to seafoam island, swim up and down the beach until you run into a Pokemon called "M" (a glitch like Missingno.) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH HIM! After that, you should have 99 of your sixth item!
Boss Tactics
Here are your best bets for beating the Pokemon Gym Leaders:
Brock: Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer.
Misty: Use grass pokemon or electric to defeat this gym leader.
Leiutenant Surge: use a rock or ground pokemon and he's toast.
Erika: Use fire pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.
Sabrina: Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner.
Koga: This poison pokemon lover will be deafeted easily by using psy pokemon.
Blaine: This fire trainer will use fire pokemon against you so you can use water or ice.
Final boss: Giovanni, the team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - use water, ice, plant and he's out of there (and talk to him again and he says something to you).
In the Indigo Plateu you find 5 pokemon masters. Use this pokemon lineup for a better chance of success:
1. Plant
2. Water, Plant, Flight, Ice
3. Psy
4. Ice or Dragon
5. ??? Good Luck!
Easy Level Gain
To easily gain experience, simply switch the Pokémon you want to train with the top Pokémon on your list. When you go into battle the Pokémon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokémon. Once you win the battle the beginning Pokémon and the fighting Pokémon will both gain experience points.
Extra Damage
While fighting, select your desired attack. When it says you are going to use that attack (eg. "Venusaur used Razor Leaf"), hold down the A button until your opponent's life stops draining. If your timing was right you'll do more damage than usual.
Fight Land Creatures in Water
To fight creatures that normally live on land in water, go to the water around Cinnabar Island or Seafoam Islands (The only place you can be randomly attacked while swimming.) Swim along the shore of any island and you will fight land creatures. (You have to swim on a place where the square is half land and half water.)
Instead of fighting a set group of monsters in the water, you actually fight monsters from the last place you were. So to get safari zone monsters, you need to go to the section of the safari zone with that monster, let your time run out, then go to the coast. Using this trick I have caught Kangaskhan, Scyther, and Tauros!
Gold Coin
996 - 11B - E6A
Buy Poke'balls with the code off. Then, sell them for a stunning $990200 each! You can sell other items for different amounts of money, but you get no money at all for selling Master Balls.
Get Mewtwo
After you have gotten all eight of your badges you need to go beat the pokemon league. The credits will roll and then the menu pops up again. DO NOT RESET THE GAME!!!! Go to Cerulean Citygo north to the brige where you faced 5 trainers before the path to Bill's house. Turn left and there will be a large area of water. Surf until you get to a cave. You will find Mewtwo in that cave.
Get MissingNo.
To get MissingNo (a glitch) go to Cinnabar Island and go into the Pokémon Research Labratory and trade with anyone in the first room. Then leave the Lab and go to the EAST of Cinnabar Island and surf up and down on the part where the land meets the water. Eventually the battle screen will come up and the screen goes black for about 5 seconds.
Once you find him I suggest you use a Level 30 to 40 Pokemon. This is because Missing No., even at Lv. 80, has a VERY low defense rating. So get him down pretty low. Even at low he is still extremely difficult to catch. So next get a Pokemon that knows a sleep move and put him to sleep. Follow this up with a couple Ultra Balls and you should have him.
NOTE: Catching MissingNo. may cause minor glitches. Also note that if he evolves (i.e., by receiving a Rare Candy) he will turn into a Khangiskahn.
Get the Mimic TM
Buy a Pokedoll in Celadon Mart, then FLY to Saffron and talk to the Copycat. She will give you the Mimic TM.
Invisible Walls in Koga's Gym
If you look at the floors in Koga's Gym you will notice it has lines. In some spots you will see little gaps in the lines. These "gapped lines" are the invisible walls.
Level 100+ Pokemon
Follow these instructions to catch pokemon with really high levels.
Talk to the old man in Viridian City who shows you how to catch pokemon.
Fly directly to Cinnabar Island.
Put your strongest pokemon on your team.
You might want to save now.
Surf on the shore where the land touches water.
Keep Surfing until you run into one of these strong pokemon.
These pokemon are well above level 100. Unfortunately, they will revert back to Level 100 if they gain any experience points. Rare Candy is the only thing that raises their level. They can be used in a two-player battle without losing their level, so have fun liquidating your friends!
Secret Coins
At the Game Corner there are secret coins lying around. You can get these coins by walking around and pressing the A button.
Use Safari Ball as an Ultra Ball
In the safari zone, When you throw a safari ball press A rapidly.
Use a Pokéball as a Masterball
Throw a regular Pokéball then hold DOWN + B or UP + B until the Pokéball explodes.

Each of the three birds will be in an egg.
The first Mythical bird is Moltres (he is in the Volcano level), he will be easy to find since his egg is blocking your path. all you have to do is hit the egg with pokemon food or pester balls and a moltres will emerge from the hot lava
To get Zapdos you must lure pikachu to the egg sitting in the tunnel then play a pokeflute. If you did it right pikachu will hit the egg and he will shoot the egg out and the egg will blow up revealing Zapdos.
Articuno: Play your Pokeflute when you see the Jynx and the egg.
Rainbow Cloud Stage
To get to the secret level (Level #7 The Rainbow Cloud Stage) take pictures of these following landmarks on all of the 6 stages:
Stage#1 - The Kingler rock formation is on the left after you pass Pikachu's surfboard.
Stage#2 - The Pinsir shadow will appear some time after you release the Zapdos from the beginning of the level. You will see the Pinser shadow on the right after you pass the second Electabuzz.
Stage#3 - The Koffing cloud appears on the left at the very beginning of the level.
Stage#4 - The Cubone rock formation will be above the Vileplume you see (to see the Vileplume play the Pokeflute in front of a large purple bag you see near the beginning of the level.)
Stage#5 - Mewtwo's energy form will appear on the left soon after you see the Weepinbell.
Stage#6 - The Dugtrio Rocks are right in front of you |
