| Remember when you were on your way to Cinnabar Island? You had to plow thru all these crappy octopus like things..... Well, I got news for you! These 'crappy octopus' things, at higher levels, are lean mean killing machines! I choose you Tentacruel! So how so? Well, first off, they're water poison Pokemon, a rare combination! People who don't know any better, might send out say, a Tangela, a grass Pokemon which should destroy water Pokemon... However, Tentacruel is half Poison! So it's immune to grass attacks! And it can counter with a Poison Sting to beat Tangela! Talk about a major upset! So Tentacruel is immune to Grass, remember that! A grass Pokemon won't touch Tentacruel. Say you were in a bind, Tentacruel can use its wrap attack, the ultimate cheese move. If you Tentacruel was fast enough, the other Pokemon would never even get a chance to counter attack! And to top it off, Constrict, another move, attacks the opponent and reduces their speed! So constrict, then wrap! Ultimate cheese combo... And why fight when the opponent can fight itself? Supersonic! The ultimate lifesaver.... Put it on an opposing Pokemon, and watch it [hopefully] knock itself off... Besides having an array of cheese moves, Tentacruel also has those overpowering moves! Hydro Pump, the most powerful water attack, learnt at Level 50! Besides being so cool in battle, Misty likes them! Isn't that reason enough to give your Tentacruel a shot? So next time you need a water Pokemon, put that Blastoise back in its ball. Put that Vaporeon back in its ball. Tentacruel, I choose you! |
