| What comes to mind when one hears of Parasect? A crappy Pokemon that does nothing.... Well, that's how the cartoon potrayed it.. Remember that episode where the gang was trying to get Paras to evolve.. utterly pathetic... But enough of the cartoon, lets talk about the game.... So there I was, with my indestructable team of Mewtwo, Alakazam, Golem, Machamp, Voltorb, and Magmar. I was facing this other guy who used Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Hitmonlee and, yup, you guessed, Parasect. His Pokemon were all slightly higher than mine... But we battled and I managed to kill his 5 of his Pokemon... but that came with a price... Machamp fainted, and well, Golem and Voltorb did their jobs and went kamazee and exploded.. So it was two on one, needless to say I was pretty confident having my two Psychic Pokemon there... And out came that crappy Parasect... well, it usd Spore on my Mewtwo, so I brought out Alakazam, and it used Spore again.... Then it proceded to Growth itself while my Pokemon we're asleep... I was beginning to regrett not taking the PokeFlute with me.... Well, the Parasect justed continued to use growth and growth, and all of a sudden, used Leech Life!!! Mewtwo died instantly!!?!?! My lvl 98 Alakazam dropped like a rock! My psychics were weak against that atttack! And then, the unthinkable happened, Leech Life on Mewtwo... and it was over... Abra K. lost.... All because of that underestimated Parasect... Needless to say, I rechallenged him and this time went on without mercy and smashed his team... So what's the lesson... Parasect is good! Parasect is the best line of defense against Psychic Pokemon. Leech life is one of the few bug-type attacks out there, and psychics just happen to be weak against them... Throw it in with growth and you got a psychic killer! Parsect, the last line of defense against Psychic Pokemon.... This came from Psypoke.com |
