Fibonacci numbers are used to come up with the
Science golden ratio which is 1.618... or 0.618... . To do this
The further out you get on the sequence the better an
approximation you get. This ratio was used to build the
Acropolis in Athens. The Greeks thought this was a
special sequence and so made the ratio of the length to
the width of the portico the same as the golden ratio.
Fibonacci number - A member of the sequence 0, 1, 1, 2 3, 5,... where each number is the sum of the previous two
numbers.

A Fibonacci series is a series as follows:
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144,...
If you pick any two terms, let's say the 6th and 7th, they add up to the next term in the sequence, which is the 8th this time.ex. 8 + 13 = 21 also 34 + 55 = 89.
