Beating some Bosses Easily

Cerberus
Junction 100 tornado and and thundaga to your defense and alakazam - beating Cerberus is as easy as flicking you fingers.
Diablos
Get a few doubles(draw at least 3 from elvoret) and cures. The best time to defeat him is as soon as you get the lamp he's in. At the battle, instantly cast double on yourselves and cure yourselves constantly. Draw demi from him until he's low on HP and use all your Gf's.
Bahamut
Junction 100 thundaga and tornado to your defense. Cast shell on yourselves when the battle begins, and use tripled magics, limit breaks, etc... The only hindrance he should give to you is the mega flare - about 200-300 Hp of damage, if you casted shell on yourselves already.

Best way to beat omega

BEFORE BATTLE
Make sure that you get laguna card and then modify into 100 hero's and try to have lionheart for squall, and have your characters at full health.

BATTLE
Keep healing your characters with curaga to make sure that they stay at 9999 hit points. When omega uses his burning move it will take off 9998 damage. Now have each character use one hero on themselves and omega will not be able to hurt you leaving you to keep pounding him with your limits as you are only on 1 point. After about 3-4 limits with each character have them use another hero and no-one will even die once.

All Vase Pieces in Laguna's Town

To find al the blue vase pieces in Laguna's town, go thru the chocobo crossing and press the button against the chocobo to kick him in the air...he'll drop items.......pick em up then go to the flower shop in the middle of town next to the nearest flower stand....then go back to the pub by the mansion and talk to the cat on the bar....take all pieces back to the man in the mansion and you'll receive a Holy Stone.

How to get the Lion Heart in the disk 2

The items needed for the Lion Heart (Squalls best weapon)
1-Admantine
4-Dragon Fangs
12-Pulse Ammo
Admantine can be aquired by stealing it from BGH251F2 with mug ability or by using card mod on the minotaur's card
Dragon Fangs are droped by Blue Dragons, T-rexaur's.Blue Dragons can be found in the bika forests right outside of the trabia garden
Pulse Ammo can be aquired by muging Blitzes for a power generator.Power generator's are rare to mug from a blitz so getting it may take a while. Blitzez can be found in the sarenghetti forest by the centra ruins.

Draw early on in the game

Speed is everything

Keep Squall in Yellow, it's fun

Keep your G.F.'s happy, but don't use them too often, your SeeD rankings go down... just like running away a lot.

If at first you don't succeed, throw your controller at the screen screaming how bad of a game this is. j/k, this is a really awesome game, try finding the enemy's weakness and exploit, exploit, exploit!

Draw from all bosses, never know what you can get!

Have lots of fun!

Play cards alot, and morph almost every new monster you come across, sometimes more than once. It helps later in the game.

Spend you time drawing Melt from an enemy with Laguna in the 3rd disk, don't be afraid to stop the enemys to do so.

Too weak to kill an enemy? Use Melt to do maximum damage!

To use limit, use Aura or be at low health. If it doesn't apear right away, don't fret! Just keep hitting Triangle.

To get Squall’s 2nd best weapon in the 1st disk:
In Galbadia Garden go play everyone cards there, collect as many cards as you can. Then use Quazlcoat's Ability 'Change cards to Items' and change Toonberry to Cutting Knife, fight the guys around Gulbadia Garden to get a lot of Bolts, get 2 of the card on the 5th page-1st card, and turn 3 Adamantian turtles into Shell. You don't need the magazine to buy the Weapon, you just need all the materials, and it will show up in the shop, the magazines are for you to know what items you need. Details by Sniper Wolf

Keep your levels low in the first disk, try changing everyone you encounter into cards.
In the second disk, get your level up high, enemies are easy when you are at lvl 100.
For lots of AP, in the 2nd-4th disk, fight the Sabotendar (Cactus men) in the Desert by/on Cactus Island. For lots of Exp, go to the island nearest to Hell.
In the 3rd/4th disk, put on encounter nothing (Diablo Party Ability) and run around Island nearest to Hell and Heaven hitting [Okay] button for the best spells.

The only cheat I found (Cheat as in W-Item type) was being able to junction one magic to 5 different slots, on the same character. First you need the magic, say Ultima. Have 100 of them on Squall or whoever. Now you need to have Ultima junctioned on let's say, HP. Your other 3 Junctions are (For only using on 4), Attack, Elemental Defence, and Speed, put any type of magic on those, just remember what you put (ie. fire on Attack, shell on Elemental Defence, and Haste on Speed). Make sure you have no other Ultima, fire, shell, or haste on anyone else! Now go to the Magic screen, put 1 Ultima on Zell, Selphie, and Rinoa. Then trade fire for your 1 ultima on Selphie, shell for the 1 ultima on Zell, and haste for the 1 ultima on Rinoa. Go back to the Junction screen and admire! Don't take off Ultima or they all will go. If you messed up on any of these processes, start over, or you will be missing Ultimas on a few slots. You can give back haste and junk to Squall afterwards too. The maximum slots is 5, but you can do 2 or 3. ****This only works on the Japanese****

Ultima Weapon is at the bottom of the Underwater Reaserch Facility, the place where you got Bahamut. There are pretty nasty enemies down there, so be careful, like it matters if you have everyone at level 100, which you should. Also, have Squall's Best Weapon equiped. First, you climb down the vine, then go hit the control panel, it will take off 4 points. In order to succed, you need 10 points left over. Go down stairs, now go to the other control panel and take off 2 points. Go down and hit the control panel nearest to where you came down, take off 1. Now there is another control panel there, hit it and take 4 off, go through the door that opens and add 7 points back on. Go out and go down, take off 1 point from the control panel and go on the elevator. Take off 4 points to get past this door, then it's a matter of fighting/walking down to the bottom. When you get down there, kill off Squall then finish the battle/run away. Use raise to bring him back alive, and keep him in the yellow. Hit the control panel and after a long sceen, you fight Ultima Weapon. The key to this battle is having Squall's Speed and Attack up. Use his D-Move on Ultima. It took me 4 limits to kill him.

To beat Omega, you should have Squall, Rinoa, and Quistis in your party. Have everyone at max HP, highest evasion, highest speed, luck, and highest power. Have Death junctioned to status defence and for status attack, I heard don't put holy, but I put nothing just incase. Have Eden at level 50 or higher and life at 9,999. Try to have Squall's Lionheart, and have Squall enter the battle with Automatic Haste (Cerebus' Ability). Give Rinoa the ability to cast Melt and Leviathan's Fullcure. Give Quistis Eden, try to have him very happy so he goes fast. Before you enter the fight, enter a battle and kill off Squall. Leave the battle and cast Life1 on him or use a pheonix down, slow down the batlle speed to it's slowest. In the battle, have Squall use his Limit and Quistis use Eden, have Rinoa cast Melt on Ultima, any order, just do it. If you can't get Squall's limit, keep hitting triangle until you do. Just keep pounding Omega until he dies. Have Rinoa absorb Ultima's or use Omega's Ultima's against him. Have Quistis keep casting Eden, and Squall keep using his limits.

To meet Omega, you first need to get your main party to the switching point near the fountain. Have your other party, from the entrance go up the stairs, to the right and in the door, go down stairs, then pull the rope for the bell... you should have 60 seconds to switch party members and all, but 10 seconds is used up by Zell looking up at the bell. Switch the party and go in the room straight ahead. Omega Weapon is hard to miss, so just talk to him.

Beating Adel EASILY

Here is how to beat Adel easily.Right when the battle begins,caste HASTE on everyone.(Dont worry about attacking!)Adel will first cast Meteor,but just take it in it isnt that strong!Now with a guy who can use items,use Mega Potion.(get Mega Potion by refining 4 tents into one Mega Potion.It recovers 1000hp to everyone.Use Recovery med from item ability.)On your next turn, cast SHELL on everyone.Once again,dont worry about using attacks.When HASTE and SHELL are on, get one guy to use Mega Potion constantly.Use your other two guys to kick the crap out of Adel with the DARKSIDE ability.If you do not have DARKSIDE,it is still pretty good to use regular attacks.Do this and everything should go real smooth and easy!

You can find Quistis' character card in the Balamb cafeteria. Walk to the table at the right and challenge the guy in the back to a game of cards. He has quistis' character card and you can obtain it if you beat him. angelo's GF card is on the train where squall meets rinoa for the second time. challenge the guy in the yellow jackets that calls you "sir" and you can steal his Angelo GF card.

No Random Encounters

There is a way to not fight any monsters on the world map besides using Diablos' encounter-none ability. If you walk on a road or train tracks, you won't have to fight any enemies. This is handy early on in the game when your HP is low and need to get to Balamb Garden or Balamb.
(Note: This works in the American version. It might work in the Japanese version, but I don't know because I only have the American version.)

Kill the zombie with one hit

When you go to nagotiate with the president(disc 1) use a GF on him in human form and when he changes use Phonix down (by clicking on phonix down and when the people screen comes up press left)Then he should automatically be dead.

Fast Magic

To use triple very early on in a fight , junction cerberus to someone with the initiative ability, use cerberus right away. now you can use magic x3 the whole fight!

Get back rare cards you lose.

Sometmes you want to get cards such as Zell card or Laguna card,but you are afraid you will lose some players card or GF card to the person,and if you did not save,the card may be gone forever.

Random rules are always(mostly) in those people which have good cards. But what if the card came out all lousy except for a good card,you defenitly lose the good card.And if the good card is VERY RARE then you may think you card is gone forever.

Example: I played cards with Zell's mother. The random rule is in there. I got 4 lousy cards and a Seifer card. Zell's mother have all good cards,I of course lose the Seifer card. But no sweat! Just keep playing with her and keep winning her and soon she will have no choice but to use Seifer card.AND if you can win her,then you got back your Seifer card.

And one more thing,around disk 2 or 3,try to change ALL your ENEMIES CARD,do not change the bosses or GFs or player card.This is a very good thing to do,because if you want to have easy wining in cards you MUST do this!

Random may be a killer but you can make it look like a small fly.You see,when there are random rules,you don't have to be afraid.The cards will ether be boss card or Gf card or player card! Kinda cool huh! E-mail me for any questions.

Another Shumi village side quest and other stuff

After talking to the elder and getting the phoenix pinion you will see that scene where the attendant is ordered to work on Laguna's statue.

Go to the shop and go to the statue if you see the attendant sulking in the corner your next sidequest has begun. Talk to him , then the elder who will instruct you to take the moomba guarding his house to talk to attendant. Follow the moomba and watch it talk to attendant. Attendant will help now. Talk to him and he will say that the work will be faster if they had artisan helping them. Go to artisan and talk to him(The house nearest to the shop). He will refuse so go to Fishermans horizon to meet the Artisans friend , the grease monkey found near where you fought the Galbadian soldiers. He will give you his moomba toy.Go back to Shumi village and see artisan again. This time he will agree after much convincing from the toy. Follow him to the shop and watch them work. Go see the elder and he will give you a Status Guard X 4. Its very important since Grashaboras card is so hard to obtain.Believe me it will help you later on.

Want to be an efficient killer in disc one. Play cards. Win as many tonberry cards as you can and convert them into chefs knives. Convert these chefs knives into death by Sirens Life recovery magic. Junction it on anyone who has Status attack and see T-rexaurs disappear before your vey eyes with one blow. Its really cool.

Issue#1-In library shelf to the left. Don't change scenes where you see draw point for Esuna. Just go there and press on the shelf you can't miss it.

Issue#2-Can be bought at Esthar bookshop or if Angelo search is performed on Bahamut.

Issue#3-from master fisherman on FH. Before reaching the lift that carries you down to FH town proper you will see a ladder . Go down and look for master fisherman there sitting , still fishing.
