Sony of Japan shipped over one million copies of their flagship racer Gran Turismo 3. Within a two-day period, not only was Sony able to sell one million, but if I'm not mistaken GT3 is the fastest selling console game since Final Fantasy VII for the PSOne. Gran Turismo 3's 150+ vehicles and its name make it a must buy title for any gamer. Polyphony Digital has worked wonders on creating the greatest racing game ever. If that isn't hail enough for you, Japan's most hard-headed and toughest gaming mag, rated GT3 a platinum, giving it a 39/40. To date very few titles have scored a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu, Vagrant Story and Zelda 64 being the two most notable of all.
GT3 will feature two Formula One cars that are based on actual models, but feature no actual license or logo tagged anywhere on the car. And finally the source was also able to confirm that Sony will indeed release GT3 in June, and possibly before the half of the month.
