Jerry Lynn

Hometown: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 212 lbs.
Year Turned Pro: 1988
Catchphrase:
Championships Held:

Jerry Lynn was renowned as the wrestling world's undiscovered superstar for years by hardcore fans who were lucky enough to see him in Minnesota or Japan. Then, he made his way to Extreme Championship Wrestling and immediately proved himself to the hard-to-please ECW audience with his incredible work ethic.

After a series of breathtaking matches with Rob Van Dam for the ECW World Television championship, Lynn found himself dubbed the "New F'N Show" by ECW fanatics, his popularity booming higher than ever.

A scientific genius when it comes to the mat, Lynn is also well versed at flying through the air, known for putting it all on the line to attain victory, even when wrestling injured.

Although he burst out in the past year with Extreme Championship Wrestling's fans, Lynn was still waiting for that big championship victory over Van Dam when both crashed and burned due to injuries.

While rehabilitating a broken ankle, Lynn found himself consumed with rage and anger when he saw the media and Internet focus on Van Dam's recovery and seemingly forget his. When he returned to Extreme Championship Wrestling, "The New F'N Show" intensely confronted Van Dam and made it quite clear that he would prove to everyone who the "Real F'N Show" was.

When Lynn and Van Dam collided at Hardcore Heaven 2000, Lynn indeed came out the victor in a hard fought bout, but one that ended mired in controversy. Since then, rumors abound that "The New F'N Show" has fallen in with Cyrus and the Network. While that situation has yet to be clarified, no one can deny Lynn's victory and his place as a superstar in Extreme Championship Wrestling.
