| AWOL Height: 6'10" Weight: 340 lbs. Hometown: Ocean Grove, NJ Debut: 1994 More Jersey Shore than Munich, AWOL has strayed from his initial WCW image of a German taskmaster. Having returned to his New Jersey roots, AWOL has torn through WCW like a buzz saw. He sends more plywood and sawdust flying through the air then a carpenter. He most recently shaved his hair into a mohawk, and now adds additional strength to the Misfits In Action. Career History Attending Trenton State College, he played basketball during his stay at the school... After a tryout with the Dallas Cowboys, he shifted gears, joining Iron Mike Sharpe's Wrestling School in New Jersey. It was there where he met Bam Bam Bigelow. The two became friends, working shows together all around the area... He eventually wound up at the WCW Power Plant, getting more training in preparation for his WCW debut... The Wall made his WCW debut as the bodyguard of the nihilistic Berlyn... Soon, The Wall as doing more damage in the ring than his charge... Became notorious for putting wrestlers through tables... A rift soon developed between the two men and they quickly parted ways... He challenged the entire WCW locker room to fight him in table matches... Takes sadistic joy in sending an opponent through wood... Currently running amok with the Misfits In Action. Wrestling Style Two words: Rough and Tumble... His offense relies on heavy brawling -- Has yet to execute a technical maneuver in WCW... Finishes off opponents with a chokeslam or powerbomb... The self-proclaimed "Master of Table Matches." Did You Know? Attended Trenton State University in New Jersey... Tried out with the Dallas Cowboys... Trained by Iron Mike Sharpe... Spent time at the WCW Power Plant... Longtime friends with Bam Bam Bigelow... His name is a reference to the former divider of Germany, not the Pink Floyd song. |
