Each standing well over 6 feet tall, Big Ron and Heavy D are an impressive duo who have the distinct advantage of having known their tag team partner all their lives. Since debuting in WCW, they have been double trouble for everyone who has dared to cross their paths.
Career History
Trained by the late Rocky Montana, Ron and Don made their pro debut in 1988... Held the tag team titles several times in the USWA, a Tennessee regional promotion run by the Jarrett family... Wrestled in several regions, as well as the WWF, before debuting in WCW in late 1999... Originally known as Creative Control, the hired suits for the Powers That Be, and quickly grabbed the WCW tag team titles... Broke off on their own, dropped the suits, and appeared as themselves, Ron and Don Harris - two bad ass bikers... When the nWo 2000 formed, however, the suits were back on... Finally back in leather and denim, Big Ron and Heavy D now look out for themselves.
Wrestling Style
Ron describes the team as aggressive and athletic brawlers... Don echoes the statement, saying it comes natural to them to kick ass in the ring... Because they have been together as a unit from the beginning, their double teaming techniques are second to none... After a thorough beating, they will usually throw the boot to the face before finishing their opponents off with the destructive H-Bomb.
