Stevie Ray

Height: 6'5"
Weight: 292 lbs.
Hometown: Harlem, New York
Birthday: August 22, 1958
Pro Debut: 1989
Signature Maneuver: Slapjack

One-half of the most successful tag team in WCW history, Stevie Ray has already secured his place in wrestling history.

But the Harlem Heat's famed enforcer has returned to WCW, in hopes of helping his little brother stay atop WCW's highly-competitive World Title scene. Despite years of street tactics and schoolyard bullying, Stevie has proven that his brute strength is only equaled by his unbending loyalty.

Career History
Began training under Scott Casey in 1989... Competed in both singles and tag team competition (with brother Booker) in the Texas-based WWA and other independents... Won his first singles title (the GWF North American Championship) from Rod Price... Debuted in WCW, alongside Booker T in 1993... During the next seven years, won the WCW Tag Titles an unprecedented 10 times... Left Booker T and joined the nWo in 1998... Broke off from Hollywood Hogan and became leader of nWo Black-and-White... Left the group in 1999, and reformed Harlem Heat with Booker T.... Betrayed Booker T in 2000, forming Harlem Heat 2000 with Big T, Cash and manager J. Biggs... Reestablished friendship and bond with brother, reformed original Harlem Heat and began doing occasional color commentary for promotion.

Wrestling Style
Stevie Ray has always relied on an intimidating combination of raw power and street fighting to corner opponents, and pummel them into submission. Once Stevie Ray has weakened the opposition, he applied his Slapjack finisher for the win.

Did You Know?
Alongside Booker T, once wrestled as "The Ebony Experience"... Avid fan of motor sports.
