Career History
Debuted in Mexico at the age of 16, making him a 9 year pro, even though he's still in his twenties... Wore a luchadore style mask until 1998, until he was forced to take it off after losing a tag team match with Konnan against Kevin Nash and Lex Luger... Won five WCW cruiserweight titles and two WCW tag team belts with Kidman and Konnan... Originally a strict cruiserweight competitor, Rey shocked fans by taking on, and defeating some of the biggest wrestlers in the business, including Kevin Nash and Bam Bam Bigelow, earning him the nickname "Giant Killer"... A huge star in Mexico, and a cult favorite in Japan, despite only rarely appearing in the Orient... Formed alliances with the Filthy Animals and No Limit Soldiers with rapper Master P... Spellbinding battles with Dean Malenko, Juventud Guerrera, Kidman, Ultimo Dragon and Psychosis... High risk style has resulted in knee injuries, taking him out of action for extended periods of time, although he always comes back and flies again... Was actually the sole member of the "Latino World Order" when all other members left the group at the request of Ric Flair...
