Career History
In 1999, Buffer portrayed himself on the hit TV sitcom "Friends" (along with Tank Abbott) as the voice of the UFC Octagon... Released his own popular video game for the Sega Dreamcast game system in 1998, called "Ready to Rumble"... Has been announcing for more than 15 years and at WCW main event matches for more than three years... Buffer announced the 1997 Starcade when Sting defeated Hollywood Hogan. Also, he was a part of the first match between Hollywood Hogan and Goldberg in front of more than 40,000 people in the Georgia Dome... He also played a physical role in matches in WCW: Buffer was once mishandled by Big Vito during a Pay-Per-View in 1999... Buffer is well known for his time spent announcing professional boxing matches... He was a part of the first ever meeting between Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad.
