| Daffney Height: 5'6" Hometown: Atlanta Pro Debut: 1999 With her outrageous shrieks and maniacal laughter, Daffney has changed the role of women in WCW. Coming to the ring in her bleak gothic attire, Daffney cuts a relatively low-profile figure in the bright lights world of sports-entertainment. She is a woman of empowerment, willing to take on any comer -- female or male -- in her quest to reinvent WCW in her own twisted image. The 24-year-old valet and wrestler is well on her way to becoming the prototypical wrestling woman for the new millenium. Career History Daffney was originally brought to WCW for a month long stint as David Flair's crazy stalker... Fans immediately took to the tatooed freak, however, and she was soon signed to a long-term deal... Within weeks, Daffney found herself leading the team of Flair and Crowbar and often found herself getting involved in the action... Casual outside interfearence soon turned into amazing displays of athleticism... Instead of simply tripping her charge's opponent, Daffney began to employ high-flying moves like the top-rope Frankensteiner... Soon, Daffney found herself teaming up with Crowbar in a series of mixed tag-team matches... In one such match, Daffney pinned Tammy to win Cruiserweight title... Though no longer the champion, her skills are rapidly developing, and she recently began a stint at the Power Plant to further her abilities... Is engaged to David Flair, but that appears to be in question, as David has been accompanied to the ring by Ms. Hancock. Wrestling Style When in the ring with Daffney there is only one rule: There are no rules!... A natural athlete, Daffney takes to the skies like a skilled luchadore, rolling opponents into a variety of pinning positions... She credits much of her ability to Crowbar, himself an agile cruiserweight... Daffney's most potent weapon thus far is her amazing top-rope huracanrana, a stunning display of skill and precision. Did You Know? Daffney was recently engaged to Rich Moore of the rock band, Stuck Mojo, famous for placing the WCW United States title on the cover of an album... The duo met at Lex Luger's Main Event Fitness in Atlanta... She had a bit part in the film "Santa Claus: The Movie" with Dudley Moore and John Lithgow... She graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in film and video production... The large tatoo on her back is Celtic in origin... Daffney was a successful soccer player in high school, earning several area honors... She was born in Germany, where her father served in the Air Force. |
