Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
The man with the microphone that fans love to hate, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan causes both ire and admiration with his quick, biting wit often directed at WCW fan favorites.
Heenan is infamously popular with the "humanoids," as co-host of one of the top-rated prime time series on basic cable television, WCW Thunder. This self-proclaimed wrestling "broadcast journalist" has won two WCW "Announcer Of The Year" awards and sack loads of hate mail with his brash, outspoken one-liners.
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan compliments one of the greatest broadcast teams in all of sports broadcasting with fellow announcers Mean Gene Okerlund, Tony Schiavone, Larry Zbyszko, Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson.
His lightning wit has levied laughter on Live with Regis & Kathie Lee, Politically Incorrect and in columns for WCW Magazine.
Heenan has known a unique trifecta of success during 35 years in pro wrestling as a wrestler, manager and announcer. In the squared circle he had many storied battles with Dick "The Bruiser" and The Crusher, while later managing the careers of such greats as Ray Stevens, Nick Bockwinkel, The Blackjacks, Ric Flair and Andre the Giant.
Although sporting his Beverly Hills attitude, Heenan currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. This native of Chicago has also called Indianapolis and Tampa home. He now comes into homes all around the world on WCW programming, weaving his berating banter as the one and only - Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
