Missingno
If you see Missingno, he will mess up your POKéMON League. If you want to see him anyway, go to Viridian City and talk to the guy who teaches you how to catch POKéMON. Say "NO". Fly to Cinnabar Island or the Seafoam Islands. Surf up and down on the east (right) side where it is half land & half water. Eventually you will encounter him. Don't catch him. He'll mess up your graphics and POKéMON League.
Catch POKéMON over L100
To catch POKéMON over L100, go to Viridian City and talk to the guy who teaches you how to catch POKéMON. Say "NO". Fly to Cinnabar Island or the Seafoam Islands. Surf up and down on the east (right) side where it is half land & half water. You will find POKéMON over L100. If they gain any Experience Points, they go back down to level 100. You can use rare candies on them up to level 255. If you give them any more, they go down to level 0.

Get a lot of an item
Put the item you want a lot of in the sixth spot in your ITEMS. Then, do the Missingno cheat explained above, but don't catch it. Instead, run away from it. Look at your sixth item. There should be a strange symbol and a 9. It's usually over 100. You can use this code to get many Masterballs, Rare Candies, etc.

Make a Pokéball act as a Masterball
Throw any kind of ball and hold UP+B. It will act like a Masterball. If you do it right, you should have no problem catching it. It takes a few tries to get it right, though.

Catch Safari POKéMON on Cinnabar Island
The right side of Cinnabar Island has the same POKéMON as the last place you walked in. Walk around in the area in the Safari Zone where the POKéMON you need is found. When your time runs out, go to Cinnabar Island and surf up and down on the right side (half land & half water). You will run into that POKéMON after a while.

Duplicate POKéMON
This requires two GameBoys and POKéMON games. Put the POKéMON you want to duplicate into one of the games. Have a POKéMON in the other game that will be erased. Trade those POKéMON. After the WAITING sign is gone and before the TRADE COMPLETED! sign appears, turn the game (with the POKéMON to be duplicated) off. There should now be two of that POKéMON, one in each game. There is a risk of erasing your game.

Hidden Computer
If you go to the hotel in Celadon City, there is a hidden computer. When you enter, go up two spaces and go all the way to the right. Go up one space and press the A button. you will access a hidden computer. You can use it just like an ordinary one.
