| Welcome to the Privacy Place. Today government and corporations intrude on many aspects of our lives. This site is dedicated to supplying information that can guide, and help protect a standard of privacy. The links and information supplied should be used under the current laws of your specific area. Each one of us tolerates a different level of intrusions into our privacy. Here one should be able to travel to the sites that can supply information that will help obtain that level of privacy. More importantly you should become active in protecting your privacy on, and off line. Too often the on line community ignores off line problems. "Spam" may be a problem that destroys bandwidth, however "Junk mail" is a problem too and that destroys trees, shouldn't both be a concern? Here you should find the organisations that can help you become active in pursuing that goal. Being a "private person" does not mean that one should refain from speaking out, and letting our legislators know what we think.
