When I was growing up everybody always spoke bad things about me like, "she will never amount to anything, or, she will be in prison before she is 20 years old."
Well, I was in jail before I was 20, and when I got out I kept going down the path that was spoken over me. But two years ago I met a man named Jesus. His word said to me - Lynn, if you believe in Me, I will save you. Well I did just that. And Jesus did just what He said He would do. He forgave me of my sins.
Well, I`e been back to jail, to prison, even as far as death row. But not as a resident, as a Witness for God! Letting the inmate know that ther is hope, that God loves them, Jesus cares, and so do I. For the first time in my life I can tell the inmates there is hope. And I am living that hope trough Jesus Christ.
Jesus changed me and He can change them. Sometimes people need to see God` work for themselves. And God chose a nobody like me to show other inmates that they can be somebody through Jesus.
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
