| "They're heeerre!" says little Carol Anne Freeling(the late Heather O'Rourke, whose official fansite is http://www.heatherorourke.net ) sitting in front of her parents' (JoBeth Williams and Craig T. Nelson) bedroom television. Soon after, her family is terrorized by poltergeists from another dimension! During the terror, Carol Anne is whisked into a spectral void. Her parents, Diane and Steve, soon learn that their daughter is alive within the walls of the house, and fight to get the youngster back, hiring a team of parapsychologists(led by Beatrice Straight) and pint-sized medium Tangina Barrons(Zelda Rubinstein) to help them rescue young Carol Anne from the ghostly world. |

| The Freelings have moved in with Dianne's mother(Geraldine Fitzgerald) and have finally gotten over the events of the previous poltergeist intrusion. But, Tangina Barrons discovers that the evil forces are back for the Freelings' daughter, Carol Anne. When the poltergeists attack again, an Indian medicine man(Will Sampson) is sent by Tangina to help the Freelings through their second ghostly nightmare, and Tangina soon arrives herself. Now, the Freelings must once again face these sinister forces. |
