Master Ball trick:
When you throw a Great Ball hold UP and B just as it opens and it willact as a Master Ball.

Celadon slot machine tip:
All of the slot machines have different odds which change every time Play each machine 4 times, and if you win on that one two or more times stick to that one.

Free Pokéballs/Ghost Computer:
In Celedon City go to the hotel in the bottom right corner and go inside. Face where the computer would be in a Pokémon Center and press A. The same screen should come up that appears when you use the PC in the Pokémon Center. At a Pokémart, select buy, then select Pokéballs, set the quantity to 3 and no money will be taken. You can do this up until you have 99 Pokéballs.

Catch Safari Pokemon elsewhere:
Go into the Safari Zone and walk to the patch of grass where the Pokemon you want is. Walk around to let the time run out and then FLY to Cinnabar Island. Surf up and down the west side of the island(Half on land, Half on water). You'll start to battle the Pokemon from the patch of grass that you were standing in.

Fish in statues:
To fish in the statues walk up to the statue so that your character isstanding directly in front of it and use one of the three rods. I would suggest the Super Rod because the old rod only catches Magikarps.

Catch Ditto easily:
To make it a little bit easier to catch Ditto put a Magikarp or otherweak Pokemon at the top of your list. Ditto will change into Magikarp and thus making him easier to catch.

Missingo:
First you have to trade with that guy on Cinnabar Island that wants a Ponyta for a Seel. Once you do that go to the oast of the island. andSURF up and down the coast(Half on land, Half on water). You'll fight a Pokemon called Missingo. He looks like a mass of flying dots. His at
tack is approximately 230 but his defense is around 13 so use a weak Pokemon.

Hidden Items:
Here are some fairly good items found with the ItemFinder

*Full Restore on Victory Road near the exit
*PP Up on Route 17 on right side of cycling road
*PP Up on Route 13
*Max Ether on island while traveling to Victory Rd.
*Nugget on Route 7 underground path
*Full Restore and X Special on Route 5 underground path
*Ether in Unknown Dungeon 1st floor
*Rare candy in Cerulean City in the top lefthand corner nearest the unknown Dungeon

99 of any item:
Talk to the man in Viridian City who teaches you how to catch a Weedleand relpy 'No' when he asks if you're in a hurry. Then place the item you want to be duplicated as the sixth item from the top. To switch items press select while the arrow is pointing to them and then bring the arrow to the spot where you want the item and press select again.
The items will switch places. Now FLY to Cinnabar Island and SURF along the East coast You'll soon come in contact with a Pokemon referred to as M. Defeat him or run away but DO NOT capture him. Once you have defeated him or run away you'll have at least 99 of the6th item on your list.

Fight Level 100+ Pokemon:
Perform the 99 Items code above, then after battling M, keep surfing and you'll start encountering Pokemon that are level 135 and above. It is possible to capture them. Some copies of the game can do this better than others, and if you use the Pokemon in a battle other than a two player battle it will turn back into a Lvl. 100 Pokemon. Though, battling these Pokemon is a good way to earn up to 3000 Exp. points!

Duplicate Pokemon:
To perform this trick you'll need a friend. One of the players takes a weak Pokemon that he/she dosn't want and the other player takes a rare or powerful pokemon (The one to be duplicated). The two players enter the Trade Center in the Pokemon Center. Once the trade begins have the reciever of the bad Pokemon turn off their GameBoy as the
screen on the persons GameBoy who's getting the goodPokemon says WAITING'. Then when the person who's getting the good Pokemon shouldturn their GameBoy off once the screen says Trade Completed. The bad Pokemon will be gone and both players will have the good pokemon.

S.S. Anne Trick:
Get HM01 from the Captain then battle any trainer on the ship and perposly lose. You will be sent to the last Pokemon Center you went to without the ship leaving.

Green Pikachu:
To get a green Pikachu you'll need a GameBoy color. catch a Pikachu in the Viridian Forest or the Power Plant and rename him Pikachan.

Tree climbing:
Go find a tree small shrub and cut it with a Pokemon which has CUT. Step onto the space where the shrub was and save the game. Turn off your Gameboy and turn it back on. When you load your game, your character will be on top of the tree.

Snorlax Cheat:
Some people think Snorlax can only be caught with an ultra ball. But there is another way.
1: Get Snorlax's health as low as possible then Capture him.
2: Throw the regular PokeBall then hold down and B.
