yes a 3rd. page has been made for the guide. Sorry that it has to be this big.

Marsh Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lavender Town
-------------

Now go east to Lavender Town and enter the tower that was once known as the
Pokémon Tower. It has been transformed into a Radio Tower! Talk to everyone
inside then go back to Saffron City. Head north from there to enter Cerulean
City.

Cerulean City
-------------

Once in Cerulean, head east through all the Trainers. When you reach the
end, there should be a body of water. Surf through that water and head on
down south where the Power Plant used to be. It's been transformed into a
Power Station. Talk to the man operating the generators in the room with all
the big machines and go back to Cerulean City.

Enter the GYM and a Team Rocket member will bump into you. After talking to
him, exit and head to the 'Nugget Bridge' just up north. The Team Rocket
member should be there. Talk to him and fight his Golbat. After defeating
him, he'll tell you about something he hid in the GYM.

Go to the east now and through all the Trainers. Once you reach the end of
that, Misty will talk to you and go back to her GYM. Now go back to the
Cerulean City GYM and face Misty.

The item the Team Rocket member hid in the GYM is located in the very small
pool by the first Trainer in the GYM. It at the top left hand side of the
pool. Just press the 'A' button to get it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Misty,
Misty looks like she has grown up a lot since the previous game,
especially with the Pokémon she uses. Don't worry, Misty isn't very hard.

Golduck: A Thunder Punch will easily defeat Golduck in one round.

Nuoo: Same thing as Golduck, Thunder Punch her.

Lapras: Probably Misty's hardest one, it may take TWO Thunder Punches...

Starmie: Again, Thunder Punch.

Cascade Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After defeating Misty, go back to the Power Station to give the item that
was inside the GYM to the man by the big machines. He'll give you a TM in
return. Next, go back to Lavender Town and enter the Radio Tower. Talk to
the man in the tophat and he'll upgrade your radio, so it can use the
highest frequency.

Celadon City
------------
Head down south and cut the bush that blocks your way. Head west and you
should arrive at Erika's GYM, the place it was in the previous game.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Erika,
Erika like the other past GYM Leaders has upgraded her Pokémon. She now
uses some of the most powerful Pokémon, that are somewhat a challenge.

Tangela: Just use FlameThrower on Tangela and it should faint quickly. A
strong attack will do fine as well. Watch out, because Tangela uses
Absorb, which steals your HP and uses it to heal itself.

Watakko: Same thing as Tangela, but I don't think it has Absorb.

Kireihana: This one may prove to be somewhat a threat because of its
powerful SolarBeam attack. Watch out and attack quickly with fire before
you get hit.

Victreebel: Burn Victreebel quickly, or use powerful attacks on it.

Rainbow Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go back up north and head west to the Cycling Road. Take the road down to
Fuchsia City.

Fuchsia City
------------
You'll notice a few things. One being that there is no Safari Zone, and
the second, a new GYM Leader. (It is unconfirmed that it's Aya, Koga's
sister) Inside the Fuchsia City GYM, there will be a lot of Trainers that
look like Anzu, the GYM Leader. Lot of them are fake, and the real one is
on the west side. There are invisible walls in this GYM, but it should be
easy to see where you're going, since they are more like dotted lines.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Anzu, Anzu is the new GYM Leader in place of Koga, who is now part of the Elite
Four. She uses almost the exact same Pokémon as Koga, Poision ones.

Kurobatto: A Thunder Punch should finish it off easily.

Ariadosu: Use a very powerful attack to defeat Ariadosu.

Weezing: Again, another powerful attack will do the job.

Weezing: Same strategy as the previous Weezing.

Venomoth: Try a few Thunder Punches and strong attacks to knock Venomoth
out. Be quick, because Venomoth does have Psychic.

Soul Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vermilion City
--------------

Make your way back once again to Vermilion City and head east to the Diglett
Cave. You'll find that there's a sleeping Snorlax, so wake it up by going
into your Poké Gear option and going into your radio. Turn the radio up to
15, the maximum frequency and then talk to Snorlax. Snorlax will wake up in
an angry mood. Catch Snorlax, beacuse it's very strong.

Go through the Diglett Cave and you should arrive near Pewter City.

Pewter City
-----------

Head northwest to Pewter City and face Brock.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Brock,
Brock has grown like Misty and has collected newer, stronger Pokémon.

Graveler: Use Surf to knock Graveler out quickly.

Omastar: It may take a Hydro Pump or two to knock Omastar out. Try also
using Thunder Punch too, because Omastar is Rock/Water.

Onix: Use a Hydro Pump to knock Onix out easily.

Kabutops: Same strategy as Omastar, because it is Rock/Water too.

Rhyhorn: A Hydro Pump will do the trick.

Boulder Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now you can, head off to Mt. Moon to the east. As you enter the mountain,
your rival will attack you for the final time. Defeat him, because he was
just like your last enouncter before the Elite Four, but with his Pokémon a
little stronger.

You could ignore the Mt. Moon part and head on down south to Pallet Town.
Ignore the Viridian City GYM, because no one is in it. Talk to Professor
Oak inside his house.

Cinnibar Island
---------------
Head down south and Surf south some more till you reach land. Talk to Gary
who is examining something. He'll talk to you and then fly away. Heal your
Pokémon on the small island if you want and Surf to the east. You should
see a small cave. Go inside and it's Blaine's hidden GYM.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Blaine,
Blaine has thrown away his wig and got newer Pokémon like all of the old
GYM Leaders. However, his small number of Pokémon make him very weak.

Magakarugo: A simple Hydro Pump can knock Magakarugo out in no time.

Magmar: Yet again, a Hydro Pump may do the job, but it might take a
little more, since Magmar is stronger than Magakarugo.

Rapidash: This is the only Pokémon that may actually hit you. Don't worry
though. If you're using a strong Water Pokémon, Surf or Hydro Pump will
quickly extinguish Rapidash.

Volcano Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Viridian City
-------------

Head back to Viridian City after defeating Blaine. Go inside the GYM and
there will only be one person inside, Gary, the new GYM Leader.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Gary,
After constantly losing to Ash in the previous game, and the disappearing
of Giovanni, Gary has become the new Viridian City GYM Leader. Unlike the
other GYM Leaders, Gary is no pushover.

Pidgeot: A Thunder Punch will nicely handle Pidgeot.

Gyarados: Be sure to try and defeat Gyarados as quickly as possible. A
Thunder Punch should do the job.

Exeggutor: Burn Exeggutor with fire moves quickly before it gives you a
Psychic attack. Watch out for its SolarBeam and Leech Seed too.

Alakazam: Use anything powerful against Alakazam, then he should faint.

Rhydon: Rhydon is possibly the most dangerous Pokémon Gary has if you
fail to knock it out as soon as possible. Hydro Pump should do the job.

Arcanine: Another Hydro Pump will knock Gary's most prized Pokémon out.

Earth Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go back to Pallet Town and talk to Professor Oak. He'll tell you to go to
Shirogane Mountain. Go back to Viridian City and head westward. Enter the
building and keep going west. You'll find yourself in the building that
led to the Elite Four in the new world. Exit the building by heading west
and out of the door. Head northwest to Shirogane Mountain. Heal if you
want, there's a Pokémon Center nearby. Go through the mountain and soon
at the end you'll find Ash standing all by himself. Talk to him to have
the final battle of the game.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Ash,
Ash has changed from the previous game. Equipped with the same Pokémon
the television show, some evolved, Ash can take down some strong Trainers.
This is the final battle, so be prepared.

Pikachu: Ash's highest leveled Pokémon is the easiest. Use strong attacks
such as Body Slam, Slash, or Hyper Beam to knock out Pikachu. Do not use
try using a Water Pokémon because as you know, Pikachu is fast. Meaning,
he'll use a Thunder, which can cause serious damage.

Eefi: Resort to using your most powerful attacks. Anything will work. Try
to use a Scyther though, because it's a Bug type. But, be quick, because
Eefi really likes to use its Psychic attack, and this is only the second
Pokémon, so you can't afford to lose one of yours here.

Snorlax: Snorlax is Ash's strongest Pokémon, and takes the longest to
defeat. Snorlax will usually start off by using Body Slam or Amnesia.
Once you bring him down to a low HP level, Snorlax will Rest, causing it
to gain all of its HP back. But sometimes during this nap, Snorlax does
some sort of attack that hits you. Once Snorlax wakes up, if you did
damage when it was sleeping, it'll go back to sleep again, restoring its
HP to full. To defeat this big lug, either using a very, very powerful
Pokémon. Mostly any powerful attack can do major damage, if your Pokémon
is strong, since Snorlax is a Normal type. Or you can make him run out of
attacks. You should have a Pokémon with Recover, or a lot of Super/Max
Potions if you're going to do this.

Blastoise: Beat Blastoise as soon as possible! It has a Blizzard attack
which can cause some major damage to almost any Pokémon. One powerful
SolarBeams should do the job here.

Venusaur: Venusaur will usually do SolarBeam, so you have a free turn
to do some damage. However, SolarBeam is powerful, so you might want to
heal for that turn. Just try knocking it out with Ice or Fire attacks.

Charizard: Finally, the last Pokémon. Charizard is very simple. If you
have the red Gyarados up at a high level, and it has Hydro Pump, use it.
Two Hydro Pumps will knock out Charizard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After defeating Ash, he'll give you the silent treatment and fly away.
Congratulations, you've defeated the game! Watch the credits and when you
re-start the game, you'll find yourself in front of the Pokémon Center near
Shirogane Mountain.

FAQ(frequently asked questions)

Q: Where are the three Legendary Dogs?
A: After you've set them free from the tower in Enju City, they scampered off. Meaning, you can't find them in just one place. They are usually in the tall grass though. Also when you fins them, when you do damage to them no matter if they run away or not they will always have the same HP when you fought them.

Q: Where are the evoluton stones?
A: well im not sure exactly. But if anywhere they are still in the market in celadon city.

Q: Is there a way to travel faster from the new world to the old world?
A: Yes, there is a way. In Vermilion City, go into the Pokémon Fan Club's house and talk to the man at the top of the room. After that, talk to the fat man and he'll give you some item. Take the item to the girl in Saffron City (the one that mimics alot). She'll take the item and give you a ticket so that you can go on the motorcar, making it faster for you to travel. The motorcar station in the old world is located northwest in Saffron City. The motorcar station in the new world is located in Kogane City, near the Radio Tower.

Q: Where can i find Mewtwo?
A: As of now I don't know where Mewtwo is.

Q: Where are the three mystical birds?
A: As of now I don't know where the three mystical birds are.

Q: Is Mew in gold and silver?
A: That's a good question. Im looking into finding mew but, some other walkthroughs say that you have to use a gameshark to get him.

Q: Are there any more special pokemon besides Lugia & Hohuo
A: Well some pokemon require you to use a gameshark. The only other special pokemon that I know of right now are the three legendary dogs.

Q: When will pokemon gold & silver come out in the U.S.
A: I've read that it will be released sept. or oct. of 2000.

Q: What's the best stradgety to capture Lugia and hohuo?
A: Tower there energy as much as you can. Then, if you have a pokemon that has hypnosis use it on them. Another thing you can do is use your masterball on one of them.

Q: I have read that you can breed pokemon, is this true? If so how and where.
A: yes, you can breed pokemon. Go to South of Kogane City. Then you will see a house. Go into the house and give a male pokemon to the guy and a female pokemon to the girl. Leave the house and come back a good while later. If you see an egg you know the breed has worked. Some combinations will not work. if you breed to pikachus, a male and a female, you will get a baby pikachu called Pichu.

Q: On pokemon Silver how do I get past the guy that is sitting over the staircase in the ghost city and what is up there?\
A: Well Hohuo is in the top of the building, but to get the guy to move go to pewter city. Then talk to everyone in the city. If a guy gives you something you will know that you have the golden feateher which makes the guy in the tower move.
note: if you're playing on the gold version you will get the silver feather which lets you get past the guy blocking the entrance to the cave where Lugia is.
