The guide was stopped at the gym leader since i didn't have anymore space for that page.
Seel: If you have a Fire Pokémon, take care of Seel quickly. Otherwise,
resort to using strong physical attacks.
Inomuu: Easy to defeat, use the same strategy you used on Seel.
Dewgong: Same thing...easy, huh?
Ice Badge: i don't know much about this badge
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kogane City
-----------
After winning your seventh Badge, Professor Utsugi will call you. Go all the
way back to Kogane City and enter the Radio Tower to the west. Inside there
are a bunch of Team Rocket members. When on the third floor, to the east,
you should notice that there's a gate. Ignore that, because that will be
opened later. Make your way up to the top after beating all the Team Rocket
members and you'll meet the male boss again. Defeat him and recieve a key.
Exit the tower and head north into an underground passage. Go down into
the underground passage, then head east to unlock the door. Make sure you're
at full health because your rival will soon encounter you and a fight will
happen. He has stronger Pokémon this time, so I hope you saved. After that,
there is a puzzle dealing with pressing switches. I have no idea what the
real number order is to unlock the correct path, but it's simple to figureout.
Soon after, you'll find some people trapped on a floor. Talk to one of the
men and he'll give you a card key. Use this in the elevator nearby to go
up. You'll find yourself in the Shop, now go back to the tower.
If you remember where the gate that was blocking your path was, go there
now. You should be able to open it. Fight the rest of the Team Rocket
members along with the two bosses. After beating them, head back to ChojuTown.
Fusube City
-----------
Go all the way back to Choju Town and head east into the icy cave. There
are more ice puzzles like the one in the Choju Town GYM. You should also be
able to find HM 7, which is Waterfall. After doing everything in the cave,
head on out and south to Fusube City.
Heal your Pokémon and go to the GYM. Defeat the Dragon Pokémon Trainers and
fight Ibuki. You'll need a Pokémon with Strength to push down the stones
in this GYM in order to get to Ibuki.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Ibuki,
Ibuki is the final GYM Leader of the Jolt League, and possibly, the
hardest. Her Dragon Pokémon can prove to be the only possible challenge
this League.
Dragonair: Use an Electric type Pokémon. If you have Thunder Punch or
ThunderBolt, those will work good. Also, try to paralyze her using a
Thunder Wave.
Dragonair: Same strategy, since it's the same level as the first one.
Dragonair: Same thing...
Kingudora: The evolved form of Seadra as it appears to be. Kingudora is
like the Dragonairs. However, it is very fast. Again, try paralyzing it
and knock it out quick with anything that's strong.
Raging Badge: All Pokémon obey you!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ibuki won't give you the Raging Badge just yet. Leave the GYM and go behind
it. Surf to an opening, which will lead you into a cave. Go down the stairs
and equip HM 6 on one of your Pokémon. Surf down and to the west to find
a whirlpool. Don't go into the whirlpool, stay in front of it and press
the 'A' button. Your Pokémon with the HM equiped should destroy it. Now,
head south and to the east. Then north till you see an item. Go over to it
and pick it up. Ibuki will then meet up with you and give you the Raging
Badge. Leave the cave and head back to Wakaba Town.
Wakaba Town
-----------
After you got the eighth Badge, Professor Utsugi will call you. Go all
the way back to Wakaba Town. Just Fly if you want, it's faster. But for you
walkers, just head south of Fusube City.
Talk to Utsugi in his house and he'll give you a Master Ball. Since you have
gotten all eight Badges, you can now enter the Pokémon League. But really,
it's just the Elite Four. This is going to be a very hard battle, so I
suggest you build up your Pokémon into the high fifties or higher.
For extra power, get Houou or Lugia. I've heard that both are in both versions.
Houou and Lugia
-----------------
Houou,
Go back to Enju City and into the large tower with the moving block. Just
ascend the stairs till you get to the top. There should be Houou. I suggest
that you save before you fight him because this is the only chance you'll
be able to get him.
Lugia,
Surf south of Asagi City. You'll find four caves. Go to the northeast cave
and walk down the ladder. Head east and two paths will be seen, one on the
top and the other on the bottom. Go to the one on the top, then head south.
Now head south down the waterfall and go to the cave just west of it. Surf
north and Lugia should be there. Like Houou, save before you fight him
because you'll only have one chance to fight him.
Houou & Lugia in both versions?
Yes, it is true. Both are available in both versions. To get them, you must
go to Pewter City. Talk to an old man standing somewhere in the city, not
in a house. He'll either give you the Gold Feather or the Silver Feather,
depending on what version you're playing. Once obtaining this, go to Enju
City for Houou, and the caves south of Asagi City for Lugia. Both are in
the same area, nothing is changed. The only thing that is different is that
the Pokémon is Level 70. For example, you fight Houou using Silver, it's
Level 70. Same thing goes for Lugia. And, the Pokémon are harder to catch.
The Pokémon League
------------------
Even if you got Houou/Lugia or not, it doesn't make a difference. In
Wakaba Town, Surf to the east and a man will give you another map. Go east
some more and enter a cave. You'll need to Surf into the water and end up
seeing a waterfall. Equip HM 7, Waterfall, on one of your Pokémon. Stay in
front of the waterfall and press the 'A' button. You should be able to
ascend the waterfall this time. Go to the east and then down another
waterfall. Leave the cave.
Head on east till you can go east no more. Then head north up to the
entrance building of the last cave. This cave is very simple to go through.
At the end of the cave, save. You'll battle your rival as you're about to
leave it. He has strong Pokémon, but they aren't compared to what the Elite
Four has.Go north and into the building. Heal your Pokémon and buy what's needed
because the Elite Four is very hard.
The order the Elite Four send out their Pokémon is never known. The
order listed is the order they usually send out their Pokémon. It may vary.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ELITE 4 INFO:
Itsuki,
Itsuki is the first of the Elite Four, giving you a taste of what they're
all about. He uses Psychic Pokémon, but they're not just pure Psychic.
Neitio: This bird is very fast. Use Denryuu if you have it because it
should have Thunder Punch, which can knock out Neitio in one hit.
Jynx: Beware of its Lovely Kiss, Jynx can put your Pokémon to sleep.
Forget using Electric Pokémon, use something with a lot of strength like
a Gyarados to knock out Jynx in one or two rounds.
Exeggutor: Again, power is all that will matter against Exeggutor. It's
psychic powers seem to be the strongest of all the Pokémon Itsuki has.
Slowbro: Thunder Punch, bam! It's finished.
Neitio: Same strategy as the previous Neitio.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ELITE 4 INFO:
Koga,
Looks like Koga was promoted from the Fuchsia City GYM Leader to one of
the Elite Four. However, Koga is the simplest of the four.
Ariadosu: This spider can be knocked out within two rounds with a strong
attack.
Foretoso: Use something like Surf or Hydro Pump to knock Foretoso out in
one or two rounds.
Venomoth: Use a Thunder Punch followed up by a ThunderShock to knock out
him.
Muk: This one is very powerful because it takes less damage than the
other Pokémon Koga has. Try using Surf or Hydro Pump to knock Muk out.
Otherwise, do not use regular physical attacks. Only the most powerful of
the physical attacks actually work.
Kurobatto: A Thunder Punch followed up by a Thundershock will knock
him
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ELITE 4 INFO:
Bruno
As the strength of the Elite Four, Bruno uses Fighting Pokémon to aid
him.
Kapoera: Use strong physical attacks to knock Kapoera out. Beware,
because it has Dig, which makes it avoid an attack for one round.
Hitmonchan: Don't use Gyarados if you have it, since Hitmonchan will use
Thunder Punch on it, causing double damage. Try using Denryuu or some
other powerful Pokémon. Mostly any attack will do damage to Hitmonchan,
but knock him out quickly.
Hitmonlee: Use something powerful with strong attacks, because Hitmonlee
will usually start things off by confusing your Pokémon. If you're lucky
and land one powerful blow on Hitmonlee, it'll faint.
Onix: Surf or Hydro Pump will knock it out immediately.
Machamp: Machamp proves to be the most powerful of the five Pokémon. Be
quick and use very powerful moves to knock Machamp out. Try not to use
Gyarados, because it has low defense.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ELITE 4 INFO:
Karin,
Karin is the last of the Elite Four and probably the easiest one. She
uses the new Evil type Pokémon.
Blackie: Something powerful will knock Blackie out in one or two rounds.
Vileplume: Use Fire moves if you have any. Try knocking out Vileplume
quickly, because it will poison you and do serious damage.
Gengar: Gengar will use its new voodoo move and half its HP. Take
advantage of this and use something powerful, not a physical attack, to
take him out.
Yamikarasu: The easiest one, just use a Thunder Punch.
Herugga: Use Surf or Hydro Pump to knock this fire dog out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ELITE 4 INFO:
Lance,
From the fourth member of the Elite Four to the Pokémon League Champion,
Lance is still the same. He uses his Dragon Pokémon, which are very easy
to defeat with an Electric Pokémon.
Gyarados: Thunder Punches will knock Gyarados out quickly. Avoid its
Hyper Beam.
Dragonite: Same as Gyarados, but with a little more HP.
Dragonite: Same strategy as the Dragonite before it.
Aerodactyl: Use a Hydro Pump on Aerodactyl because it is partially Rock.
It also has Hyper Beam, so avoid that.
Charizard: Use Hydro Pump to knock Charizard out in one round.
Dragonite: Same strategy as the other Dragonties, but this time,
Dragonite has more HP.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Congratulations, you've beaten the Pokémon League to become the Pokémon
League Champion. Professor Utsugi and your mother will rush in and
congratulate you. However, you go in the back with Lance to enter your
Pokémon in the Hall of Fame.
Watch the credits roll by and the title screen, 'The End', appears. However,
this is not the end...
You find yourself back in Wakaba Town. Talk to Professor Utsugi and he'll
give you a Boat Ticket. Now, go to Asagi City and down a path till you reach
the area where a sailor once blocked. You have the Boat Ticket, so you can
now enter the St. Anne.
St. Anne
--------
Battle all the Trainers if you want, you can always change your line-up and
heal in your room. Your room is the one all the way at the west end with the
sailor in front of it. You'll learn from one man that his daughter is missing
Go up the stairs and talk to the sailor, who won't let you pass. Go back down
and enter the room to the right of your room and fight the Sailor there.
Defeat him and go back up. You can now pass through. Head west and then up
another set of stairs. You'll find the girl talking to the ship's captain.
You'll be transported back to the old man and he'll thank you for finding
his daughter.
Vermilion City
--------------
The St. Anne will come to a halt, and you'll find yourself in Vermilion
City. Everything is almost exactly the same like the previous game. Head to
Lt. Surge's GYM if you wish to fight him right away. You won't need to do
the puzzle of where the buttons are in the rubbish cans to open the door,
the door is already open to Surge.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Lt. Surge,
Lt. Surge uses Electric type Pokémon. You'd better be on guard, or he'll
destroy you quickly.
Raichu: I suggest that you use a Rock or Ground Pokémon because Raichu
may resort into using a Electric attack. If you have no Rock or Ground
Pokémon, hit him quickly with powerful attacks.
Magneton: Same strategy as Raichu, except sometimes Magneton may hit you
with SonicBoom, so you'd better try using a fast Pokémon.
Electrode: Usually these things will use Double Team, then SelfDestruct
so use a Pokémon with a lot of HP, or try to destroy it in one round.
Electabuzz: Lt. Surge's strongest Pokémon, Electabuzz can paralyze you.
Use a Rock or Ground Pokémon to try lowering your chances for a paralyze
and hit him hard with Rock attacks.
Electrode: Same strategy as the previous Electrode.
Thunder Badge- ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saffron City
------------
Go north to Saffron City. Heal if you need to and go fight Sabrina. To get
to her, just teleport using the squares on the ground. It's a simple pattern,
all you do is go on the block to the left or right of you. For example, if
you've just teleported onto a block and there's one just to the left of
you, go on that one. Do not go onto another block if you have to reach it
by going up or down, going the left right pattern is easier. After a while
of teleporting, go fight Sabrina.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GYM LEADER INFO:
Sabrina
Sabrina is a tough Psychic Trainer that uses Psychic Pokémon. Her skill
is unmatched by many, but her Pokémon are simple to defeat.
Eefi: Use a strong attack on him and he should faint in no time.
Mr. Mime: Two powerful attacks will knock her out. Yes, HER. The reason
it's a she is because America messed up its name. Its real name is
Barriyado, and that doesn't suggest its always going to be a male or
female.
Alakazam: Again, two or three powerful attacks will knock him out
