FOR KEEPS:
First make a deck of 61 cards. Then after shuffling your deck draw 1 card an place the drawn card on the side. Then after getting your 7 cards and putting you active poekmon down turn the card you drew earlier and turn it over. That card is the card that you'll play for. After the game is over, if u win take the card that was drawn. This is now your card. If your opponet wins he takes your card and keeps it.
NOTE: you can also use more than 61 cards to play so u have 65 cards and you may win or lose those 5 cards.

3 or 4 WAY MATCH:
Ok this is complicated. Fisrt of course u need 4 people to play each with a 60 card deck. You each play as normal but to see who goes first you have 2 flip 2 coins, for 2 peolple for each of them. the two people who win have to flip for 1st. and the 2(or 1) who lost have to flip against each other. after you get your posistions keep playing as normal goint around to all 4 players, but u play with 6 no matter what! other wise your dead. When an opponet does damage he chooses which of the active 4 pokemon he wants to do damage 2. after your 1 person gets his prizes he comes in 1st. then the other 3(or 2) play to see who gets 2nd., 3rd., and/or 4th.
NOTE: for everyone who goes to the leagues at books-a-million or anywhere else they may or may not allow this game or the for keeps game. check with a gym leader to see if u can do this or not.
