Gain Experience Faster

To gain experience more quickly to unexperienced pokémon place the pokémon you want to have more experience at the top. Everytime you go into battle it'll come out first. Then switch to another pokémon and finish your battle. Now both pokémon will get experience.

Easier Way of Catching Pokémon

When trying to catch a pokémon, after sending out a pokéball press a either right before it hits the pokémon or right when it closes. This makes your pokéball act like a great ball and a great ball like an ultra ball etc.

Secret Coins

You can pick up coins people drop in the game corner by walking around and pressing A. Hint: try around the players, there are usually always some there!

Celadon City Slot Tip

All of the slot machines have different odds. Try each one about 4 times. If it hits 2 or more times stick with that one. Also if it keeps wanting to give you 3 of a kind like 777 or BAR BAR BAR, then keep playing that machine and it will eventually give it to you.

Do More Damage

To do more damage to the pokémon you're battling, press a while your pokémon is doing its attack and it should do a BIT more damage to the enemy pokémon than it would originally.

Get 99 Of Any Item

With this you can get 99 of any item.First, go to Viridian and talk the the elderly man that teaches you how to catch a weedle. He will ask you if you are in a hurry, and respond no. Watch him catch a weedle. After this, place the item that you want 99 of in your 6th item slot. After this fly to Cinnibar Island. Now surf on the right coast of Cinnibar island, but never get off. Keep surfing until you fight a pokemon called Missingno. Make sure you do not capture him, but instead defeat him. Check out your 6th item, you should have 99 of it!

Duplicating Pokémon

You need a friend and a game link cable for this. Trade the Pokémon to be cloned and have your friend get a Pokémon they don't care about. Trade them, and make sure the person getting the bad Pokémon can see the other's screen. When the receiver of the good Pokémon's screen says "waiting", get ready to shut the other one off. When the waiting disappears, turn off the Game Boy that's getting the bad Pokémon. When the other one says trade completed, turn that one off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the Pokémon. Warning: This could erase you game so be careful.

Safari Zone Pokémon

To fight safari zone pokémon outside of the safari zone first go to the safari zone and pay to get in and walk around until your time runs out. Now fly and surf along the right coast of Cinnibar island so your half on land and half in water but still using surf. You should now see safari zone pokémon. At least now theres no bait and stupid safari balls!
