Pokémon Pinball FAQs

Is it possible to catch Mew in Pokémon Pinball?
Yes. Click here http://www.pokemon.com/games/pinball_mew.html to learn how to do it.

How do I get Pikachu to save my ball? What is the lightning bolt symbol for?
You must light up the lightning bolt symbol at the top of the field by spinning the gate in the right-hand loop. Once the light is on, Pikachu will save your ball once. You can also get the super Pikachu kickback as a slot bonus.

Can I trade my Pokémon with my friends?
No. You can only trade high scores.

Can I evolve any Pokémon in my Pokédex?
No. Only a Pokémon that was captured during the current game can be evolved.

What happens when you capture all 150 Pokémon?
At this time, we have no information on what happens when all 150 Pokémon are captured.

What do the Pikachu and Ball icons in the left corner of the screen represent?
It represents how many Pokémon have been captured in the current game. The ball icon shows how many balls remain until the game is over.

What do the Ball icons below the area name in the middle of the board represent?
Each time you catch or evolve a Pokémon, one of these will appear. If you get three in one area, the bonus stage will open up.

I can’t find any new Pokémon. What should I do?
Different Pokémon are found on the Red & Blue tables, so be sure to spend equal time on both. Also, you'll have to execute multiple map moves in the same game to enter areas where the most rare Pokémon live.
